Something I have learned recently: nothing makes you feel worse than cleaning up the sink by yourself at 5 am after you've bled profusely out of your mouth. You're better off to wake someone else up and ask for help.
I noticed today that I tend to make an icon post around the same time every month. This is a bad thing for a more-than-slightly-OCD person like me to notice because now I will probably start doing it on purpose, which my friends will mock me for. Fun fact: when my best friend knows I'm coming over, she purposely messes up her bookshelf. Then she watches me fix it and laughs at me. Because as you know, Artemis Fowl cannot be upside-down in the middle of Harry Potter, who in turn cannot hang out in Narnia, which cannot spend time with The Queen's Thief, who is not friends with Twilight, which does not belong with LotR. The saddest part is, I rather enjoy fixing them all.
Forgetting about my insanity and moving onto the ridiculously large amount of icons:
001-003: Castle in the Air (Diana Wynne Jones) 004-012: Howl's Moving Castle (the book) 013-014: Howl's Moving Castle (the movie) 015-018: Beauty and the Beast 019-020: Cinderella 021-022: Mulan 023-029: Pocahontas 030-032: Princess and the Frog 033-037: Sleeping Beauty 038-042: Tangled 043-047: Prince Caspian 048-056: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (!!!) 057-081: Empire Strikes Back
Agh... my laptop cord broke. I ordered a new one off Ebay, but it's not here yet. But fortunately I can still make graphics on our non-internet computer. But then I've got to save them on a memory card and switch them to the computer that's hooked up to the internet so I can post them, and it's all too much work for someone as lazy as me. Therefore I have been avoiding it and therefore I have over 100 icons to post today. *dies* Plus I have to finish my friends' Christmas presents before I see them tonight. And I changed the colours of my layout! I went with a Princess and the Frog colour scheme since it's my lastest obsession.
Does anyone else wonder about Dr. Facilier's name? It sounds French, and the only French word I can think of like it is 'facile' which means easy. Is that hinting at Naveen trying to do things the easy way while Tiana works hard for what she wants? Or is it just a reference to New Orleans being 'The Big Easy'? I'm probably reading too much into this...
Oy. I think I should stop watching Disney movies. It has reached the point where iconing them has almost become hazardous to my health. Then again... Disney movies are rad.
