1. Prepare your base and whatnot. (Holy Toledo, am ever tired of saying that).
2. Create a new layer filled with 260330. Set it to ‘Screen’ at 20%.
3. Duplicate your base and bring it to the top. Set it to ‘Screen’ at 100%.
4. Create a new layer filled with 011800. Set it to ‘Overlay’ at 100%.
5. Create a new layer filled with ffe401. Set it to ‘Colour’ at 10%.
6. Merge your layers, add text/brushes/texture, whatever you like.

^(I haven't actually seen the Inkheart movie, and I don't really want to because it looks like a brutal mess of a book adaptation, but I love Dustfinger and Paul Bettany, so I had to make just one icon of him).
