prodigal, noun. (From modern common usage: one who is considered the 'black sheep', the undesirable, or the unwanted member of a group, esp. of a family unit.)
The journey begins with two people, scarred inside and out by the lives they've led and the choices they've made along the way. Faith is a Slayer, Chosen by fate to be a hero and stand against the darkness. She's also a convicted muderer, escaped convict and former psychopath. Wesley was a Watcher, tasked to train and guide before fighting alongside a Champion. That was before he was betrayed, abandoned and made a pariah by the people he considered his family.
With nowhere to belong, two Prodigals choose the road instead. The darkness, of course, won't be far away.
Prodigals is a one-on-one LJ-based Roleplaying Game based on the universe defined by Joss Whedon's series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel". Material in this game will rate up to NC-17.
