The original characters and this AU storyline are mine.Author's Note: A year ago I was told that a TV character, one I'd become attached to, had met her end. I wrote this story to help me deal with it. Eight months and eight chapters (roughly 60,000 words) later, I am feeling much, much better (mainly because she wasn't really dead *g*), and have more than dipped my toes in a fandom that never ceases to amaze me in so many ways. Thank you very much to those of you who have given this story a chance and have been generous with your encouragement. That said, I am happy to come to the end, because now I'm all kinds of tired. :) Goodbye, Ann. You've been to me a sister I was forced to understand--I love you, but I'm relieved to see you go. :)
