Fedmall Program Information

FedMall is an eCommerce platform designed for the Department of Defense, federal, state, and logging into FedMall authorized local agencies to purchase products from government reserves and commercial sources.

Through FedMall, customers can access millions of supply items, including those managed by the DoD and General Services Administration, as well as commercial off-the-shelf products. Additionally, FedMall offers tools for requisition, research, and inventory tracking for DLA.

What Is Fedmall?

FedMall, also known as the Federal Mall, is an online platform operated by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) of the United States Department of Defense (DoD).

GSA FedMall provides a centralized marketplace where authorized military and government personnel can purchase a wide range of products, including industrial supplies, electronics, hardware, and office equipment, from a variety of suppliers.

One of the key benefits of FedMall Marketplace is its convenience. By using a single platform, government agencies, and military personnel can purchase products from multiple suppliers without having to negotiate individual contracts with each one. What’s The Supplier Portal?

In addition to the main FedMall platform, there is also a Supplier Portal that allows contractors to register and manage their accounts.

Suppliers can use the portal to access information about contracts and purchase orders, manage their product catalogs, and receive and respond to RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals). The FedMall Supplier Portal also provides access to training materials and other resources to help suppliers navigate the procurement process.

To use FedMall, users must be authorized government or military personnel with a valid Common Access Card (CAC) or other approved form of identification. Once logged in, users can search for products using keywords or browse by category. They can also compare prices and features from multiple suppliers and add items to their shopping cart. Purchases can be made using a government purchase card or through other approved methods.

How GSA Vendors Get Registered In Fedmall?

Before you start your DoD Fedmall Registration, you must have the following:

An active SAM registration:
- Register in SAM and obtain your UEI (Unique Entity ID): Vendors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. SAM is a federal government-wide database that contains information about vendors that do business with the federal government.
A valid CAGE code:
- To market to the government, a corporation needs to first register with the System for Award Management at SAM.gov, which will provide them with a CAGE Code upon registration.
A valid DoD-approved digital certificate
- A valid DoD-approved digital certificate, such as a soft certificate or an ECA (external certifying agency) available for registration and FedMall login. You can purchase one here: Identrust

Completing your FedMall contractor registration:

Submit an application to FedMall: Vendors can submit an application to FedMall through the Vendor Support Center (VSC) on the FedMall website.
- The application will require the vendor to provide basic information about their company, including their UEI number, SAM registration status, and GSA Schedule contact information.
Wait for approval: Once the application is submitted, FedMall will review it to ensure that the vendor meets all of the requirements. This process can take several weeks.
