Now I'm pondering the alternate reality where I didn't spill tea all over my beloved MacBook Air in 2019. I wonder how long I would've continued daily driving MacOS. The hardware would've been supported by Apple until 2021, but I wouldn't have been motivated to buy a new one at that point.

I guess I'm glad the events worked out the way they did.

I have a hard time relating too much to me-from-ten-years-ago that happily used Google Chrome, Google Drive, and typed all his notes in Microsoft Word. 😝

I have block autoplay video and audio set in Firefox, AND I have uBlock Origin set to block all media over 512 KiB.

And yet, some videos still autoplay on reddit.

The modern web is so 💩, yall. 😒

#Enpoopification has already come to #Roku

I came home last night and my home screen looked different. There were more recommendations and now a quick access row. I turned both of them off, but my home screen still looked different.

I'm not certain, but I think the home screen icon area got smaller, and the advertising area bigger.

Ugh. I need to replace roku with something #FOSS. We really need an easy solution. I mean, #syncthing-easy, not nextcloud-self-hosting-easy.
