I got the draft for Living With Depression back from the editor yesterday and there are mostly cosmetic corrections. I'm not going to start on that yet as I'm trying to finish Steele Factor. I'm still well on track for February publication.
The feedback from her has been great. She loves the book and loves the writing style. Which is very reassuring.
Anyway, the last month has been almost steady with writing Steele Factor. I've written just over 22,000 words on this book in the last 30 days, averaging about 600 words a day. Doesn't sound like much but I've made a lot of progress on the story and am hopefully close to the end. The book length so far is about 55,000 words. And I finally know who the killer is.
The cover has been chosen and I think Carol is still finalising that, so I can't post it here yet as the copy I have still has the watermark on it.
Once I've finished that, I'll go back to editing Living With Depression and finalising a few things with that.
