an amazing discovery

It's amazing how time can change a lot of things- a person's appearance, attiude, perspective in life, and memories.

Awhile ago, while browsing through some friends' pictures, I found myself reminscing. I found it easy enough to remember the fond memories. What struck me as surprising though was that I found myself fumbling to remember someone's name. Now understand that it's not uncommon to forget people's names. However this particular person wasn't just any random person in my life. This person was someone who mattered at one point in my life. And to find myself trying to remember this certain person's surname for more than 10 minutes was utterly amusing. I even tried out guessing out loud but for the two times I've tried, I have failed.

This is a failure I am proud to brag about.

depressed over the stolen phone and AC adaptor

My phone got stolen at the library yesterday, with my laptop's AC adaptor. Good thing the laptop wasn't stolen, though. Stupid creature who took that, may you rot in hell!

I'll miss that phone. The contact numbers! The pictures! Give me back my phooooone~!

That's the one I lost, only in black.

This is what I have now, only in rose.

Sigh, I want my old phone back.

that which does not make sense at all

I went out drinking with Tony last Sunday night for his farewell party. We met first at around 9:30pm and shared 5 bottles of beer and tons of food while waiting for our other co-workers who were supposed to close the restaurant. At around 12mn, Kuya Ramil, Stephen, and Roselyn came and we continued our round of drinks and exchange of chitchats.

I met him again yesterday to watch a movie and grab lunch as my farewell present (I wasn't able to buy the wallet I promised him so I made up for it by treating him out). Ocean's 13 was nice and the Thai food afterwards was great as well. Especially my glass of Monte Cristo (Columbian coffee with 1 1/4 parts of Kahlua).

This week has been a roller coaster of emotions for me. The causes, I won't expound anymore. As for my problems, I have no intentions of thinking about them for a very long time. As long as I don't think about them, they do not exist (which, I think, is a bad attitude). I just want to thank my lucky charm for being a wonderful lucky charm. Now if only I could pin you near me to keep me lucky.......

Thanks again, by the way. I really appreciate the act and enjoyed the distraction.

I went back to school with Jin last Thursday to fix the stuff I needed to shift majors and faculty. I can't believe they transferred Psychology to the Faculty of Health again

Seriously, I want to start writing again. However, I can't seem to find enough energy or inspiration. I think I'm already losing it. Which is really sad, since I believed that I've always wanted to do this. Feeling pretty much useless lately. Things aren't that peachy with the parentals. And Ice's rebellious nature just won't stop seeping through. Gaaaaah... Must control...

I met up with Sayuri awhile ago. Today we decided to do roleplaying in order to practice my conversation skills. Here's how it went:

Situation: Sayuri calls Alayssa

Sayuri: Doko ni iru no?
Alayssa: McDonaldo ni iru yo.
Sayuri: Soko de nani shiteru no?
Alayssa: Kaoru wo sagashiteru no.
Sayuri: Atama okashinjanai no?!
Alayssa: Uun, tada staaker shiteru dake.
Sayuri: Kimoi!

Yes, I know I'm weird. And she knows it too. And yet she continues the conversation with me. Sorry for any mispellings. This was just a part of the conversation we had.

I've been reading Gorgeous Carat  non-stop. And finished reading Cantarella vol 7 as well. I oficially want to bear Cesare's children. And Chiaro's. Florian's and Ray's too.

Why are they so unreachable?

Now I have to search and complete the Seimaden series too.

I love my money, but I love my beautiful men more.

*cackles*

-edit-

I just came across this picture. I just want to hyperventilate right now. They have volume 8 already! I want! *still drooling over Cesare*

Okay, the warm fuzzies have completely abandoned me after watching two episodes of 1 Litre of Tears. That's why I've decided to write to calm myself down before even attempting to go to sleep.

guilty on all acoounts

Snagged a quiz from nikki.

Alayssa, you're single because you don't want to settle

You, more than others, have a fairy tale fantasy of how things should be. Ever since you were a kid, you've probably dreamed of the perfect wedding, coming home to a white picket fence, dog, and 2.2 kids (how does that work, anyway?). When someone asks what you're looking for, you don't skip a beat: You're likely to have a handy checklist that details your perfect partner. Hair and eye color, height, religion, education, career, interests, the list goes on.

While it's great to have standards — Hey, you shouldn't have to settle, after all — there's one slight glitch in your master plan: No one has made the grade in real life — at least not yet. Next time you're out with someone, keep yourself from mentally checking that list, and give love — and others — a chance. That special someone who you've written off may be perfect for you after all...
