Tanto nas leis como nas propostas educacionais ou nos discursos das organizações sociais, a relação do homem com o ambiente é tratada de maneira fragmentada – o homem está fora do meio, cabendo-lhe o papel de fiscalizador, predador ou controlador. Tal percepção revelaria hoje um “efeito colateral” que vem sendo descrito como uma “crise ambiental” ou, como queremos, uma “crise do letramento massivo”. Para atestá-lo, empreendemos uma análise exploratória fundamentada na Linguística Sociocognitiva. Argumentamos que os processos orais se organizam em (...) torno da “pouca distância” que o “conhecedor” tem do “conhecido”, enquanto que, com a escrita, a linguagem interpõe “entre o conhecedor e o conhecido um objeto que é o texto escrito”. O fenômeno explicaria a ampla reanálise de uma cosmogonia em que o homem ocidental se via no “centro do mundo” e passou a compreender-se como um ser que distingue claramente o eu e a natureza (Descartes), um ser “fora do mundo”, que o lê como um “livro da Natureza”, como dirá Galileu. Para mudar tal percepção, como quer a educação ambiental contemporânea, será necessário “adquirir um sentimento vivo da unidade do saber humano”, o que significará transformar a educação formal. Young people’s skills and attitudes must be observed, studied and evaluated in order to create appropriate models that would serve an educational purpose. In this paper, we propose a decision-making model with the aim to detect certain attitudinal and behavioral patterns of actively engaged young people. The data used in this research resulted from a questionnaire drawn up by a group of researchers from six European countries with the aim to investigate the youth’s awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals and (...) their engagement as active agents of development and change at regional level. For the purpose of this study, we selected the regional results obtained from administering this questionnaire in Dolj County (Romania) and La Rioja (Spain). We developed a neutrosophic model that determines the Mindchanger profile of the respondents based on a minimal set of questions, which is dependent on the inclusion or exclusion of the nationality-specific traits. The resulting decisions were then compared with the respondents’ self-evaluations, yielding high precisions (more than 0.83) for all the investigated evaluation scenarios. Our results were significantly better than the ones provided by several machine learning models applied on the same set of data. A direct impact of our model is that it can be applied to questionnaires which include linguistic responses that express, among others, unclear or vague thoughts. Additionally, it offers the possibility to identify the minimal set of questions that impact the respondent’s answer choice to a target question. (shrink)

Apesar de sua relevância, as análises biológicas da mente e do comportamento humanos raramente são abordadas na educação geral. Essa omissão geralmente se deve ao receio de que a introdução dessas perspectivas possa, inadvertidamente, promover visões biologicistas sobre os assuntos humanos. Historicamente, a Biologia foi frequentemente utilizada para respaldar agendas ideológicas, contribuindo para a legitimação de desigualdades sociais. Em resposta a tais usos, muitas abordagens educacionais adotaram marcos exclusivamente socioculturais, igualmente reducionistas em seu escopo explicativo. Em oposição a esses (...) dois extremos, defendemos a necessidade de uma abordagem mais matizada e integradora, que combine contribuições da Biologia e das ciências sociais para uma compreensão mais profunda dos fenômenos humanos. Considerando a ampla presença de discursos biologicistas nos meios de comunicação e na cultura popular, argumentamos que os currículos escolares não devem evitar esses temas. Ao contrário, os estudantes precisam de ferramentas conceituais para analisar criticamente tais discursos. No entanto, a inclusão de perspectivas biológicas no ensino deve ser orientada por estratégias pedagógicas bem fundamentadas, de modo a evitar a reprodução de interpretações deterministas ou essencialistas. Este artigo enfoca uma dessas estratégias: a necessidade de abordar a chamada falácia naturalista e erros de raciocínio relacionados. Analisamos os fundamentos conceituais desses erros, questionamos a tese — frequentemente aceita sem exame crítico — de que os domínios normativo e fático são totalmente independentes e exploramos as implicações educacionais desse debate. Nosso objetivo é contribuir para uma educação biológica que fomente o desenvolvimento de uma cidadania crítica, reflexiva e eticamente consciente. (shrink)

A Epistemologia da Energia é um subcampo do emergente campo da Filosofia da Energia, que trata de como sua representação molda o uso da energia e suas implicações. As mudanças climáticas, fruto do crescimento da produção industrial ao longo dos últimos dois séculos e meio e da matriz fóssil de energia que abasteceu este processo, tornam necessária uma transição energética que substitua essa matriz. Enquanto as estratégias atuais de transição energética enfatizam soluções tecnológicas para reduzir as emissões de gases de (...) efeito estufa, esse foco restrito negligencia outras dimensões críticas, como a integridade da biosfera e o concomitante fornecimento de serviços ecossistêmicos que são essenciais para uma sociedade sustentável e funcional. O conceito de energia, tratado geralmente na física como uma quantidade abstrata, deve considerar sua diversidade qualitativa nas aplicações práticas, sob pena de não ser capaz de torná-las operacionais, algo que se verifica facilmente no tratamento deste conceito por parte das engenharias. O presente trabalho examina a relação entre o metabolismo da energia em organismos e sociedades e os desafios de transitar para sistemas de energia que não excedam a capacidade do ambiente de metabolizar seus efeitos. Para isso, propõe-se que as questões ambientais requerem uma abordagem abrangente que considere a complexa interação entre o metabolismo social e a dinâmica dos ecossistemas. Dicotomias simplistas de energia "limpa" versus "suja" não capturam a natureza multidimensional da sustentabilidade, e interessam mais a grupos sociais que se beneficiam pela padronização de processos usando tecnologias sob os quais podem manter o controle. Concluímos que um arcabouço epistemológico mais amplo é essencial para projetar políticas energéticas eficazes que integrem considerações ecológicas, sociais e tecnológicas. (shrink)

Problematizamos o conceito de informação, sob a perspectiva da Linguística Sociocognitiva, em especial da teoria da metáfora conceptual e da teoria dos frames semânticos, a fim de verificar se a terminologia predominante da Ciência da Informação (CI) é próxima do “senso comum”, como querem alguns autores da área. De fato, pudemos descrever o esquema cognitivo em que o conceito de informação é produtivo. Identificamos um componente da metáfora do canal, a metáfora INFORMAÇÃO É CONTEÚDO, capaz de confirmar a suspeita dos (...) epistemólogos da CI e ir além: ela revela uma maneira mecânica de “falar sobre comunicação” que é de um “senso comum” desde há muitos séculos. Qual “senso comum”? Argumentando que a metáfora INFORMAÇÃO É CONTEÚDO faz mais sentido no contexto da comunicação escrita do que na falada, sugerimos uma revisão crítica dos efeitos que o letramento em massa aos seis anos poderia estar provocando na mentalidade ocidental: ao valorizar a escrita, tecnologia fundamental para a sustentabilidade das “sociedades da informação”, estaremos negligenciando a oralidade e, em consequência, negando nossa humanidade? THE COMMONSENSE OF INFORMATION: TEMPESTIVE QUESTIONSAbstractWe problematize the concept of information, from the perspective of socio-cognitive linguistics, especially that from the conceptual metaphor and semantic frames theories, in order to check whether the prevailing terminology of the Information Science (IS) is close to the “commonsense”, as some authors whish. In fact, we describe a cognitive scheme in which the concept of information is productive. A component of the conduit metaphor, INFORMATION IS CONTENT, seems to confirm the suspicion of IS epistemologists and more: it reveals a mechanical way to “speek about communication” that is a “commonsense” for centuries. Which “commonsense”? Arguing that the metaphor INFORMATION IS CONTENT makes more sense in the context of written language than in spoken one, we suggest a critical review of the effects that mass literacy at age six could be causing in Western mind: giving prestige to the writing language, a key technology for the sustainability of “information societies”, are we neglecting orality and therefore denying our humanity? Background: Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing [EMDR] is an innovative, evidence-based and effective psychotherapy for post-traumatic stress disorder [PTSD]. As with other psychotherapies, the effectiveness of EMDR contrasts with a limited knowledge of its underlying mechanism of action. In its relatively short life as a therapeutic option, EMDR has not been without controversy, in particular regarding the role of the bilateral stimulation as an active component of the therapy. The high prevalence of EMDR in clinical practice and the dramatic increase (...) in EMDR research in recent years, with more than 26 randomized controlled trials published to date, highlight the need for a better understanding of its mechanism of action. Methods: We conducted a thorough systematic search of studies published until October 2017, using PubMed, ScienceDirect, Web of Knowledge and Scopus databases that examined the mechanism of action of EMDR or provided conclusions within the framework of current theoretical models of EMDR functioning. Results: Seventy-five studies were selected for review and classified into three overarching models; (i) psychological models (ii) psychophysiological models and (iii) neurobiological models. The evidence available from each study was analysed and discussed. Results demonstrated a reasonable empirical support for the working memory hypothesis and for the physiological changes associated with successful EMDR therapy. Recently, more sophisticated structural and functional neuroimaging studies using high resolution structural and temporal techniques are starting to provide preliminary evidence into the neuronal correlates before, during and after EMDR therapy. Discussion: Despite the increasing number of studies that published in recent years, the research into the mechanisms underlying EDMR therapy are still in its infancy. Studies in well-defined clinical and non-clinical populations, larger sample sizes and tighter methodological control are further needed in order to establish firm conclusions. (shrink)

Human adults incline toward moral objectivism but may approach things more relativistically if different cultures are involved. In this study, 4-, 6-, and 9-year-old children (N = 136) witnessed two parties who disagreed about moral matters: a normative judge (e.g., judging that it is wrong to do X) and an antinormative judge (e.g., judging that it is okay to do X). We assessed children’s metaethical judgment, that is, whether they judged that only one party (objectivism) or both parties (relativism) could (...) be right. We found that 9-year-olds, but not younger children, were more likely to judge that both parties could be right when a normative ingroup judge disagreed with an antinormative extraterrestrial judge (with different preferences and background) than when the antinormative judge was another ingroup individual. This effect was not found in a comparison case where parties disagreed about the possibility of different physical laws. These findings suggest that although young children often exhibit moral objectivism, by early school age they begin to temper their objectivism with culturally relative metaethical judgments. BackgroundInformation and communication technology solutions have the potential to support active and healthy aging and improve monitoring and treatment outcomes. To make such solutions acceptable, all stakeholders must be involved in the requirements elicitation process. Due to the COVID-19 situation, alternative approaches to commonly used face-to-face methods must often be used. One aim of the current article is to share a unique experience from the Pharaon project where due to the COVID-19 outbreak alternative elicitation methods were used. In addition, an (...) overview of common functional, quality, and emotional goals identified by six pilot sites is presented to complement the knowledge about the needs of older adults.MethodsOriginally planned face-to-face co-creation seminars were impossible to carry out, and all pilot sites chose alternative requirements elicitation methods that were most suitable in their situation. The elicited requirements were presented in the form of goal models. In one summary goal model, we provide an overview of common functional, quality, and emotional goals.ResultsDifferent elicitation methods were combined based on the digital literacy of the target group and their access to digital tools. Methods applied without digital technologies were phone interviews, reviews of literature and previous projects, while by means of digital technologies online interviews, online questionnaires, and virtual co-creation seminars were conducted. The combination of the methods allowed to involve all planned stakeholders. Virtual and semi-virtual co-creation seminars created collaborative environment comparable to face-to-face situations, while online participation helped to save the time of the participants. The most prevalent functional goals elicited were “Monitor health,” “Receive advice,” “Receive information.” “Easy to use/comfortable,” “personalized/tailored,” “automatic/smart” were identified as most prevalent quality goals. Most frequently occurring emotional goals were “involved,” “empowered,” and “informed.”ConclusionThere are alternative methods to face-to-face co-creation seminars, which effectively involve older adults and other stakeholders in the requirements elicitation process. Despite the used elicitation method, the requirements can be easily transformed into goal models to present the results in a uniform way. The common requirements across different pilots provided a strong foundation for representing detailed requirements and input for further software development processes. (shrink)

The focus of this article is the life and work of the French thinker Michel de Certeau, here presented as a philosopher of special interest for nursing. Although in some countries he is relatively unknown, international authors from scientific disciplines regard his texts as a fundamental source in the opening of new intellectual perspectives on current global problems. Some nurses have also considered his ideas as a useful aid for reflecting on their professional activities, and their most important research is (...) cited. Over these pages, we also examine how Certeau's work can enrich nursing philosophy in regard to three specific issues: resistance practices in nursing in the face of pressure from health institutions; the social configuration of nursing knowledge; and the importance of the body in current nursing practice. This paper discusses an algorithmic tool introduced in the Basque Country (Spain) to assess the risk of intimate partner violence. The algorithm was introduced to address the lack of human experts by automatically calculating the level of violence based on psychometric features such as controlling or violent behaviour. Given that critical literature on risk assessment tools for domestic violence mainly focuses on English-speaking countries, this paper offers an algorithmic accountability analysis in a non-English speaking region. It investigates the algorithmic risks, (...) harms, and limitations associated with the Basque tool. We propose a transdisciplinary approach from a critical statistical and legal perspective. This approach unveils issues and limitations that could lead to unexpected consequences for individuals suffering from partner violence. Moreover, our analysis suggests that the algorithmic tool has a high error rate on severe cases, i.e., cases where the aggressor could murder his partner—5 out of 10 high-risk cases are misclassified as low risk—and that there is a lack of appropriate legal guidelines for judges, the end users of this tool. The paper concludes that this risk assessment tool needs to be urgently evaluated by independent and transdisciplinary experts to better mitigate algorithmic harms in the context of intimate partner violence. Este trabajo aborda el pacto librepensador suscri­to por las autoras Rosario de Acuña y Ángeles López de Ayala. Se examinan sus contribuciones en la prensa librepensadora y su activismo feminista a través de un análisis de sus colabora­ciones en Las dominicales del librepensamiento, El gladiador: órgano de la “Sociedad progresiva femenina” y El gladiador del librepensamiento. La ideología de estas publicaciones les permitió vincular la lucha feminista con la agenda política de ideología progresista. Se parte de dos ejes complementarios cuya (...) intersección permite abordar su pacto de compromiso y transgresión: la lucha por la igualdad social y por la igualdad de género. Se estudian sus reflexiones sobre la explotación del pueblo por las castas, el empoderamiento de la mujer como agente constructor del progreso y la denuncia vehemente de su sometimiento. Se concluye que los escritos de Acuña y Ayala evidencian con el paso de los años una radicalización que pro­picia una postura cada vez más trasgresora y un feminismo más combativo, reflejando así su descontento con la actitud pater­nalista u hostil del librepensamiento y el republicanismo mas­culino en lo que respecta a los derechos de la mujer. Maeve decided to organize her life around being reunited with her daughter. So, she reflected upon what she was doing and opted to stay because of who she wanted to become as a person, not a mother who would leave her daughter behind if she could help it. We investigated the influence of maternal depression (MD) on the communication and motor dimensions of child neurodevelopment, by a longitudinal and descriptive study. We assessed 1,555 mother-baby dyads from two Brazilian cities with discrepant sociodemographic characteristics: Ribeirão Preto (RP) (N=663) and São Luís (SL) (N=892). MD during pregnancy and at the second year of child´s life was assessed, respectively, through the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale-CES-D (≥24) and the Edinburg Postnatal Depression Scale-EPDS (≥12). Child development was assessed through the (...) screening test from the Bayley Scale (BSID-III), when children were 12-24 months old. There was association between MD at the second year of child´s life and impairment on the Receptive Communication dimension of language development, especially when analysis included depression during pregnancy and sociodemographic variables. Such association was found only in the city with worse sociodemographic indicators. Our findings supported the influence of MD in the second year of child´s life on child neurodevelopment, specifically on the Receptive Communication dimension of language development in SL. Moreover, findings suggested a possible role of environmental and socioeconomic variables in such association, drawing attention to prenatal care monitoring and intervention programs for mothers living in unfavorable socioeconomic contexts. The article aims to summarize the literature about the profile of risk of orthorexia in athletes using the ORTO-15 questionnaire. The search was performed at PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Sport Discus databases, using the terms “orthorexia” AND “athletes” with the respective entry terms. A multistage process of selection followed the PRISMA 2020 recommendation. A total of 688 articles were identified, and six studies were available for the final process. The prevalence of risk for orthorexia was assessed by the (...) articles by the ORTO-15 questionnaire and ranged between 38 and 35 points. The comparison between male and female athletes and, athletes and non-athletes was not significant in the six articles. In conclusion, the review highlights that athletes from different sports, included in the review, do not present a risk of orthorexia nervosa considering the cutoff of 40 points, but not 35 points. Also, athletes present the same orthorexic behavior compared to non-athletes, demonstrating that orthorexia is an issue that needs to be considered in the general population. Moreover, a special focus should be given on the ORTO-15 questionnaire, about the sensitivity to diagnose the prevalence of orthorexia, especially in athletes. (shrink)

Artificial intelligence (AI) regulatory frameworks are being used to emphasise specific values in previously purely technical areas. One clear example is the European Union’s (EU) AI Act regulation, which sets rules on AI while relying on technical standards to guide compliance and strengthen global cooperation. However, it also states that regulatory efforts have to be in accordance with Union values. Hence, we analyse the EU's approach as an example of the importance that values have gained in AI regulatory frameworks and (...) standards. Therein, we argue that diverse conceptions of values could prevent interoperability between AI systems across regulatory contexts. To illustrate our argumentation, we identify values stated in AI regulatory frameworks from the EU, the United States and China and compare them according to the Theory of Basic Values. The comparison highlights that maintaining interoperability is crucial for regulatory frameworks and standards aiming to advance AI-based systems’ successful deployment and function in and across different regulatory contexts. Consequently, we propose a value-sensitive AI standardisation approach based on our analysis of AI regulatory values, a previous ISO/IEC/IEEE standard’s approach and value sensitive design. Our approach aims to relate AI regulatory values to requirements in AI regulations and provide suggestions for value-based configurability in AI standards. While we find there is no harmonised approach for the embedment of value-based consideration in AI standardisation, this could be a tool used to maintain the interoperability of AI systems that have global reach. Our proposed approach aims to address this shortcoming within the interplay of global AI markets and regulatory strategies. (shrink)

This work focuses on the application of machine learning techniques to assist the clinicians in the administration of analgesic drug during general anaesthesia. Specifically, the main objective is to propose the basis of an intelligent system capable of making decisions to guide the opioid dose changes based on a new nociception monitor, the analgesia nociception index. Clinical data were obtained from 15 patients undergoing cholecystectomy surgery. By means of an off-line study, machine learning techniques were applied to analyse the possible (...) relationship between the analgesic dose changes performed by the physician due to the hemodynamic activity of the patients and the evolution of the ANI. After training different classifiers and testing the results under cross validation, a preliminary relationship between the evolution of ANI and the dosage of remifentanil was found. These results evidence the potential of the ANI as a promising index to guide the infusion of analgesia. (shrink)

Becoming is the concept of unexpected links that are opened up by agency. Understanding that concept is, at the same time, understanding the changing possibilities expressed by those who play with reality and action based on the assumption that reality is uncontrollable. In such a way, existential experiments and reality possibilities are deeply connected scenarios. In this context, we will engage with recent debates about the concept of becoming, drawing on current interpretations of Deleuze and Guattari’s work and Thomas Nail’s (...) contributions. In pursuing that aim, we will illustrate the idea of becoming through two concrete narrative devices: The Lover by Marguerite Duras and Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. We follow a hermeneutical approach to identity formation processes, informed by the interdisciplinary methodological connection between text and action – i.e., the interplay between subjectivity and reflectivity in qualitative research. The central thesis is that narrated living trajectories refer to experiential scenarios associated with life experiences, disclosing reality in its diverse dimensions and possibilities. Following that consideration, we argue that becoming enables hermeneutical possibilities to comprehend open and creative enterprises. (shrink)

Given the human tendency to satisfy the proximate above the remote interests, the fulfilment of the rules of justice, which makes social cooperation possible, must be warranted by the artifice of government. Once the government is in place, it also performs a coordinating function, which strengthens preexistent activities, such as commerce. Indirectly, the government fulfils also a civilizing function -/- Resumen. CRISPR gene edition constitutes one of the most promising tools in the area of human health. However, it also involves a number of issues that require further consideration. The concerns, indeed, are twofold: the first are connected with the safety of the technology, while the second relate to some ethical issues and it is precisely those ethical issues that this chapter will deal with. To this purpose, we will focus on four main issues: the necessity of this technology and the (...) risk issues involved; the embryo loss involved; the alteration of the human genome and human identity; and the enhancement/eugenics issue. Some of our main conclusions are the following: (1) We strongly support the idea that if further research reduces the risks involved, then the reasons for the prohibition of gene editing in human beings will vanish; (2) Embryo loss is not a key factor in terms of the ethical discussion of gene editing; (3) a general ban on human embryo editing on the grounds of the defense of the human genome is clearly unjustified, even if we really hold this approach; (4) a general ban on gene editing affecting the embryo’s germ line genetic identity is hard to understand and entails a number of questions that hinder its practical applicability; and (5) referring to eugenics can hardly justify a general ban on the use of gene editing in human embryos, considering the benefits that are at stake and the moral imperative to pursue them. Resumen: El propósito del texto es analizar la relación entre cuidado de sí e innovación educativa, considerando que el diálogo y la ironía, son prácticas que posibilitan que el cuidado de sí surja como novedad en la vida del sujeto. Para alcanzar dicho propósito, el texto está dividido en dos apartados, en el primero se revisan las nociones de cuidado de sí e innovación educativa, en el segundo se analizan el diálogo y la ironía. Se acepta que la innovación educativa (...) es esa posibilidad de mantener en novedad el cuidado de sí como transformación de sí. Se asume que diálogo e ironía son experiencia radical en una continua exigencia de reflexión como una manera de habitar la extrañeza y, simultáneamente, bajo el ejercicio pedagógico del ser y hacer de las prácticas educativas. Finalmente se considera al cuidado de sí e innovación educativa como: reflexión y vida en ejercicio. Asumimos que en el diálogo y en la ironía hay un doblez y giro de la atención, la inquietud y el cuidado de sí que lo hacen emerger como innovación educativa. Partimos do pressuposto de que no diálogo e na ironia há uma reviravolta de atenção, inquietação e autocuidado que a fazem emergir como inovação educativa. Self-care and educational innovation: Dialogue and irony Summary: The purpose of the text is to analyze the relationship between self-care and educational innovation, considering that dialogue and irony are practices that allow self-care to emerge as a novelty in the subject's life. To achieve this purpose, the text is divided into two sections, in the first the notions of self-care and educational innovation are reviewed, in the second the dialogue and irony are analyzed. It is accepted that educational innovation is the possibility of keeping care of oneself as a transformation of oneself as novel. It is assumed that dialogue and irony are a radical experience in a continuous demand for reflection as a way of inhabiting strangeness and, simultaneously, under the pedagogical exercise of being and doing in educational practices. Finally, self-care and educational innovation are considered as: reflection and life in practice. We assume that in the dialogue and in the irony there is a twist and turn of attention, restlessness and self-care that make it emerge as an educational innovation. Hay diversos sentidos en torno al nihilismo propuesto por Nietzsche, incluso se habla de ello en plural: "nihilismos". Aquí hemos optado por una interpretación propia considerando el relato de Herman Melville, "Bartleby, el escribiente", como una encarnación del nihilismo. Se trata de pensar la posible relación entre ciertas formas de nihilismo y Bartleby a la luz y la sombra de las reflexiones que Deleuze hace de Nietzsche. Nuestra hipótesis es que Bartleby es una viva expresión de nihilismo y que esto (...) constituye un elemento sustancial del quehacer educativo. Dicho de otro modo, educar es un acto esencialmente nihilista. ¿Por qué recurrir a la concepción nihilista de Nietzsche para pensar la posibilidad de lo educativo? "Preferir no" puede ser el nihilismo de la voluntad de negar, así como el nihilismo del último hombre. (shrink)

Os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) abrangem diversas questões socioambientais e são aplicáveis a todos os países. O ODS 15, Vida Terrestre, visa proteger os ecossistemas terrestres, conservar a biodiversidade e reduzir a perda de biodiversidade, e o estado do Paraná é um dos estados com uma das maiores proporções de área de remanescentes florestais do Brasil e conta com uma política de preservação ambiental. Em vista disso, o estudo tem como objetivo analisar a eficiência dos municípios paranaenses no atendimento (...) ao Objetivo do Desenvolvimento Sustentável 15 - Proteger a vida terrestre. Para isso, foi utilizada a abordagem da Análise Envoltória de Dados (DEA – Data Envelopment Analysis), tendo como input o Imposto sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços Ecológico (ICMS Ecológico) e como output o percentual de áreas florestais dos municípios. Os resultados apontaram que os municípios Campo do Tenente, Céu Azul, Guaratuba, Imbituva, Ipiranga, Mirador, Morretes e Teixeira Soares foram eficientes, tendo como característica principal, a presença de parques ecológicos. Por outro lado, foi observado que as regiões mais industrializadas e urbanas concentraram mais municípios com ineficiência forte. Além disso, os municípios Piraquara, Pinhais, Campo Magro e Quatro Barras apresentaram os maiores excessos no recebimento de recursos do ICMS Ecológico. Enquanto os municípios de Pinhais, Curitiba, São Jorge do Patrocínio, Altônia, São Pedro do Paraná e Quatiguá apresentaram as maiores necessidades relativas de aumentar as áreas remanescentes florestais. La controversia por el triángulo terrestre entre Perú y Chile representa una de las disputas limítrofes más simbólicas y complejas del espacio sudamericano contemporáneo. Aunque la Corte Internacional de Justicia resolvió en 2014 el diferendo marítimo entre ambos países, el fallo dejó fuera la definición clara del punto de inicio de la frontera terrestre. Esta omisión reactivó el debate sobre la soberanía de una franja territorial de 3,4 hectáreas conocida como triángulo terrestre. El presente artículo analiza críticamente esta disputa desde (...) una perspectiva jurídica, documental y geopolítica. A través de una metodología cualitativa y de análisis de contenido, se examinan los fundamentos legales del Tratado de Lima de 1929, las evidencias técnicas de la Comisión Mixta de Límites de 1930, los acuerdos posteriores y la interpretación del fallo de la CIJ. Los resultados muestran que la postura peruana, que sostiene el punto Concordia como inicio de la frontera terrestre, se apoya en una interpretación coherente y respaldada por el derecho internacional y la práctica diplomática. Por otro lado, la posición chilena se basa en acuerdos técnicos de enfilación que no tienen jerarquía jurídica superior al tratado vigente ni competencia para redefinir límites. Se concluye que el conflicto, aunque de escala territorial menor, tiene un alto contenido simbólico, histórico y político, lo que complica su resolución. Finalmente, se plantea la necesidad de retomar el diálogo bilateral, institucionalizar mecanismos de concertación fronteriza, y fortalecer la cooperación técnica como vía para evitar una escalada diplomática. Se destaca la importancia del caso como precedente en la resolución pacífica de disputas fronterizas en América Latina y como estudio de caso sobre la interacción entre derecho, diplomacia y memoria histórica. Este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar um aspecto formal da filosofia de Ernst Tugendhat, qual seja, o modo e o resultado de sua análise dos enunciados práticos. Na medida em que a semântica formal tem a pretensão de elaborar uma concepção sistemática de filosofia analítica da linguagem, ela engloba a investigação tanto de sentenças assertóricas quanto de sentenças práticas através de um conceito específico de análise. Além disso, Tugendhat é a favor da tese de que o método analítico-linguístico é o (...) único método correto para se tratar de questões filosóficas. Nesse sentido, tal posição filosófica precisa dar conta do modo de agir prático e moral do ser humano dentro de limites estritamente semânticos, caso contrário passará a desenvolver tal temática de maneira ametódica e indeterminada. Assim, este trabalho surge da suspeita da violação, por parte de Tugendhat, de seus próprios requisitos metodológicos na análise de enunciados práticos, que acaba admitindo, em último caso, pressupostos antropológicos, psicológicos e/ou sociológicos na sua investigação.
