The Unpatterned Infinite: A Mathematical Challenge to Cosmic Rule Systems

Abstract

This paper presents a mathematical and philosophical challenge to the assumption that the absolute infinite — understood here as the totality of existence, referred to interchangeably as God, the system, or absolute ∞ — can be governed, described, or predicted by any fixed rule system. Building on the Vanishist framework introduced in Vanishism: A Dual-Fluid Ontology and the Vanish Impulse (Giri, 2026), this paper argues that absolute ∞ contains within it infinite distinct infinities, each potentially operating under different rules or no rules at all. Through symbolic mathematical demonstration, this paper shows that infinite different series — each representing a distinct infinity or universe — can all reach ∞ through completely different pathways, without any single rule governing all of them. The paper concludes that no knowledge system — including religious, scientific, or philosophical frameworks — can claim to have identified the fixed rules of absolute ∞, because absolute ∞ is, by its nature, unpatterned.
