jokes aside though I love this so much T_T I was trying to manage my expectations but I didn't have to, I LOVE the song, the mv is pretty, and they all look gorgeous. longhaired hyunjae and sunwoo!!!!!!!!! my BELOVEDS!!!!!!! I'm really happy about the choreo too, it's less ensemble-y than their usual choreos but all things considered I think that was wise lol and I'm always here for a jacob high note <3

I am listening to this again now, and while I don't know if it's enough to unseat my nonstop looping of Red Velvet's Chill Kill album or WayV's recent album, I am LOVING it. And I definitely love the music video. Everyone looks so good? I am obsesed. These last two comebacks feel like everything I have always loved about TBZ, in their two extremes. They are sooooo much fun. I didn't love Be Awake/Roar that much, but I have adored both parts of Phantasy! I love TBZ's range - dark and sexy, fun and flirty, fresh and casual...the only group I think can really do any concept. Can we have a Barbie/Lisa Frank concept, please? I would adore.

yessss! it honestly kinda feels like they're trying to please all sides of the fandom with this 3-part comeback thing - "lip gloss" for the side of the fandom that loves tbz doing fresh concepts, "watch it" for the ones who love them doing darker concepts, etc. and it's all still so tbz!

OTOH, I liked it a ton better than "Lipgloss" (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). OTOH, it took a few listens (like 5?) plus watching the MV a couple of times for me to really click with "Watch It". Not a fan of the lyrics, BUT I do enjoy the melody and general singing (Chanhee's solos are chef's kiss) and rapping. Sadly, I'm still on wobbly ground with the rest of the EP.

They all DO look fab and dance like the talented demons they are, LOL. I knew I was going to enjoy the MV as soon as I saw bias wrecker Juyeon and his fellow kitty followed by main bias Sunwoo wearing them jean shorts. Also his hair styling reminded me a lot of the one he wore during "Maverick" era (just not as light brown, I guess.) So yays to all that!

In terms of title tracks, I don't think anything will surpass my 😍 for "Roar" (or that entire EP. A true masterpiece. ZERO skips.) But "Watch It" has earned a second place fair and square. 😛

Given that they've done the two extremes concept-wise, I'm now ??? abt the last part of the trilogy. Though, at the same time, I'm sure TBZ will do it well.

when they explained the 3-part album thingy back during "lip gloss" era, they hinted at something nostalgic/emotional for the third part, so I was certain they meant something sweet and ballad-y to be released as a single around christmastime... kinda following their year-end release tradition ("white" -> "christmassy" -> "candles" -> "all about you".) but now that we know the third part is only coming next year, I don't know what to think anymore LOL

Wow. i'm not sure about the song yet, it's like... well made, but nothing out of the ordinary, though maybe i'll grow to love it if i listen to it more, but BOY is the mv good! it's gorgeous. the colors, the locations, the cgi, the individual shots, the sexy venom lady? who planned and storyboarded this mv, because i want to kiss them. and the styling!! pastel rainbow hair, split eyebrows, fake (?) face piercings! damn, if i had never heard of them before, just stumbling upon this mv would have made me check them out.

speaking as a somnia since debut... i might, of course, change my mind or get used to things that feel off/weird now, but, uh, yay! maison just advanced to second to last on my deukae title track list 😬 good for maison.

(the mv is gorgeous, though, and the styling is insane, so at least there's that!)

:| not digging it. I usually really enjoy Dreamcatcher's songs, but this kinda sheds their signature rock sound and now sounds like pretty much any other kpop girl group release. Love the hair colors in the MV though lol
"Rising" off the mini-album would've made a stronger title track imo

This track has been incredibly divisive, but I love it! I honestly think it's really clever? To me, it immediately came across as a satirical indictment of the Kpop industry as a whole. I'm surprised to see so many folks taking it at face-value. It was exactly the kind of theme I hoped they'd go for as soon as I heard it was about narcissism and the temptation of fame.

I loved it so much I ended up writing a five page analysis of it lmao

i wish they've picked rising as the title track instead of ootd. ever since the album dropped, "rising" and "shatter" have been on repeat for me. i absolutely adore both tracks.

can't say i didn't like ootd, but it didn't quite sound like dreamcatcher.

So late to this but my best boy had his solo debut! So excited for him and so proud of him. I loved the art museum concept where he was the art. The song is a great way for him to show off his personal color, and his outfits were awesome (still here for the all white look), and off course the choreo was fire.

I don't know if this is a single or just an MV for an album track? Anyway this was just so ridiculous it was classic. My GF and I belly-laughed our way through each new shot, I have watched it three times in one evening. A cosy, wintry, kids-TV-esque piece of charming nonsense, with a band with the charisma to make it work
