Sophia and I are going to be on vacation starting this Saturday. We need people to cover for us - especially on the weekends. If you can cover for either of us, PLEASE DO SO AND LET ME KNOW. If you do this for us, we will be sure to cover for you another time.
The dates we need coverage for are:
all day on August 7th (Sunday) all day on August 13th (Saturday) all day on August 14th (Sunday) (probably just for turnout in the AM because it's a show day) all day on August 20th (Saturday)
If you can do a half day on either of those days, that would be good, too. Also, I need coverage for:
PM work on August 10th (Wednesday) PM work on August 17th (Wednesday)
It's not absolutely necessary that I get coverage for those days since there are usually a lot of people, but it'd be good if I could anyway.
Keep in mind that the show is on August 14th and that if you're showing YOU SHOULD BE HELPING OUT WITH WORK WHEN YOU'RE DONE.
Please check and see if you can work any of these days and help us out by covering. Don't be lazy, because then you end up screwing over the people who do come in and work on those days and won't have me or Sophia there.
also, i don't have the list of numbers so if everyone could call/IM/tell whoever they know, its really important that all the saturday program goes to this meeting.
also, its really important that everyone brings pictures for the 4-H display.
seriously if you guys aren't there, major beat down.
so everyone. i think i lost my cross country vest. even though im pretty sure its at sophias house (sophia, please check) but if not, did any of you borrow it from my locker and forget to put it back or something? or have any of you seen it around the barn? its a black ummm, flex rider? vest. it looks like a turtle shell.
I just want to let everyone know that I wont be at Oxbow Saturday.. morning for the least.. I might come later but it depends on when I get out from "learning the ropes" at my new job.. which is also working with horses so, I'm not sure when I'll be able to leave..
But I'll probably be back for work. I don't want it to be like last week.
p.s. anytime anyone wants to learn how to ride western and go on a trial.. come to Legends Trail riding.. because, I work there now :)
lynsey and i need to go somewhere after presentations because our parents don't love us and do not wish to pick us up after they are over. so... we need to stay at someones house after them, friday.
i know everyone is aware of the presentations coming up on the 18th, but i want to give you all a realistic persepective of when it's going to be. it'll be in exactly 17 days, which means if you haven't begun your researching/writing, it's time to start. here are some suggestions i have for all of you: make sure your posters have HUGE print and are colorful and the pictures are big. having things big and clear is very important because often times you get old lady judges who can't see and if you don't have big print and big pictures they get confused and take off points. also, try to memorize you project and practice speaking loudly.

hey guys! i just wanted to say hi and tell you that i miss you all very much. i have had alot of school work and never update my lj any more but i am trying to get back to doing that. i will be home for spring break soon on march 17th and i will be back at the barn for a bit. hope you all are doing great and haveing lots of fun at the barn. i cant wait to see you all.

and also, it kind of upsets me that i am the only person still at oxbow from the original group of us (me, mike, christina argueta, christina garafola, and i think thats it? dom was part of it shortly after, but she wasnt there for a lot of it). and so now, i'm thinking of all of these really ridiculous things but i have no one to talk about them to. i could talk to mike but he's not online. i am an oxbow trooper.
