Colditz (with Laurence Fox)
I just finished watching Colditz! It was SO good!
Oh cool, I didn't even know until just now that James Fox was Laurence Fox's father. Funny that they're in the same movie and never appear together. But now I think I can see the family resemblance. How silly of me not to have known. (Understand, I'm still very new to Laurence Foxdom.)
Right, as I'm new around here, who can point me in the direction of more Laurence goodness? Movie recommendations, screencaps, icons, etc?
ETA: Oh noooooo! I just read that Laurence Fox is dating Billie Piper! Noooo, he's supposed to be dating ME! *cries, pounds table with fists* But no, be calm. I must remember that he's too tall for me. Too tall, Grace. You need someone not quite so extremely tall. That's right. Calm.

I'm so glad that bastard Nick died, though Damian Lewis did an awesome job playing his character. And I'm glad Lizzie didn't just instantly, unhesitatingly transfer all her love back to Jack like I feared she would. Aww, and I was dismayed when Sawyer got killed! Poor fellow!
But then at the end, poor Laurence!!!!! I felt for him when he had been saying his father always insisted that his boys be the very best at everything, the very best... And then everyone seemed to have success escaping except him. And then they were going to be liberated, rescued - by the Americans*, even (horrors!) - and I was exceedingly worried when I saw him getting dressed up and when he said "Not good enough." And then walking through all the crowds, walking out through the gate, I was crying out "Laurence! Laurence! What are you doing Laurence??? Laurence Laurence Laurence Laurence!" Till finally he was walking down a sunny beautiful road, and I thought, wow, he really did escape! But no. ALAS! They shot my poor Laurence.
Dangit! If he'd had a GIRL back in England waiting for him, (or even a little brunette American girl*) they would have let him live. The writers, I mean. :-D I had a bad feeling all about him all along because of that lack. He didn't have anything magnificent to go home TO. (Except a father who wanted him to be the best at everything, hmph. And dogs. And more war to be fought, while it continued.)
Oh, but lovely Laurence. He was perfect for the part.
