I've loved IWTV since reading the book in the 90s and this show - wow. I am loving the new interpretation of these characters; it's fascinating and feels real. Louis and Lestat have scorching chemistry.

I want to see a happy ending for these two - beyond the end of the show (I don't know how S1 ends as of writing this but assume I'll know by Yuletide). How can they get past all of everything and come together as equals?

For All Mankind (TV 2019)


This is one of my favourite TV shows by far in the last few years. I didn't select a character because they are all too wonderful. But I would love a fic that focusses on one or more of the women. Women and space and the dream.

Things I love: Mars! Space exploration and chasing the dream! I love the relationship between Margo and Sergei (but that's my only real 'ship for this show).

Of the Characters available for this fandom, my favourites are Molly, Ellen, Danielle, Margo. So feel free to pick any one of those 4.

This show also knocked it out of the park with season 3. The characterisation and science-fiction of it all was wonderful!

I love the friendships between the characters. I love Claire/Isaac. I am intrigued by Kelly/Bortus and fascinated by how she fits into their family, providing a mother/sister figure to Topa. Bortus/Klyden is also intriguing. The entire Kaylon civilisation is fascinating.

I love this show for its hopeful future and for characters with good hearts and open minds, trying to do their best.

So in terms of a story - either something about the relationships between them all, or just two of them (of my choices), or if you have a great sci-fi story idea, go for it!

This book. Oh, this book. Breathtaking and gorgeous. I'd love to read something about what happened next for Missouri and Jem.
