So I'm sitting up at work. Avoiding working on my dissertation. Thinking about heating up my lunch. You know, just goofing off.

I'm also thinking about this new Spock/Kirk fic I'm writing. Of course, it's a high school AU, because there is a distinct lack of high school AU in this fandom, and that shit just doesn't fly.

Dude, Star Trek is a freakishly active fandom. There's always something to read, and the fics make me so happy. I love this fandom. ♥

And look! Another new icon! *points* I just adore this icon - not quite sure why. There's just something about the original picture...*happy sigh*

I have had quite the weekend.

1.) My labmate is totally going to try and...obfuscate his way through his grad school qualifying exam. Translation: He is going to lie through his teeth and hope that he doesn't get caught during questioning. I'm hella pissed.

2.) I ran (and by ran I mean jogged/walked) in a 5K this weekend with a friend. It was awesome, and I can't wait to do it again. We only jogged the first mile, though, then her blood sugar started crashing (she's diabetic) and we had to walk the rest of the way to make sure that she didn't pass out.

3.) I saw Star Trek and it was AWESOME! I just can't get over how much I absolutely LOVED it! I did not really think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Holy shit. I will own that movie the day it comes out. Oh yes, I will.

4.) I have two invite codes for dreamwidth. I'm pretty sure most people already have one that want one, but hey. Just comment if you still need one.
