Howdy hey!! Welcome to my blog!

I’m Nelvana (Nel for short), or Lucky! Call me whichever. I use she/her pronouns and am an adult. I’m a bilingual (English + French) Canadian, and my timezone is ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time). I tend to be online pretty often, but I don’t always have the spoons to respond right away.

I like to write and draw, though I don’t always take the time to post my works. I daydream a lot and like making little aus and whatnot! I don’t talk much about it here on my blog, but you’re welcome to say hi and exchange ideas and headcanons!!

I run a PMD GtI inspired ask blog, @asking-paradise, and a Rocket Edition inspired pkmn irl blog, @champion-rocket! I’m also the author of Galaxies Above, which you can find on this blog.

I reblog a bunch of stuff; often stuff from creators, informative posts, or just silly memes! I don’t use the queue, so expect dumps of posts whenever I come online and reblog stuff. If I reblog misinformation or reblog from a harmful user please let me know so I can do my research and correct myself!

I don’t really have a tagging system for all my posts, but here’s some of the tags I currently have:

#my art is the tag included in any post that includes art that I made!
Similarly, I have #drawing, #art, #digital art, and #traditional art to keep track of art posts, but so far I only usually do it for my own art posts or art posts that I reblog from others drawing my ocs, which may also get tagged with #fanart and #not my art.
#expressions, #expression requests, #expression meme, and similar tags are used whenever I find a post with a bunch of expressions on it and draw requested characters (usually taking requests from discord) based on it.
Similarly, #art prompt is sometimes used when I post art based on a prompt.
#my writing is the tag for any fics (or the rare case of poetry) that I have written, which likely also get tagged with #writing.
Sometimes I will use the tag #fanfiction. If I post to Archive of Our Own, I’ll also use #archive of our own and #ao3. If I reblog writing that others made for me, I’ll tag it with #not my writing.
#nelvana speaks and #nelvana rambles are my two tags for posts that include my personal commentary! The former are usually more concise, and the latter are usually a bit longer and messier.
#ask nelvana is my ask/answer tag! If you send an ask to me then it will get this tag attached to it.
I also tend to tag ask posts with #ask, #open asks, #ask me anything, and when I do asks based on a list of questions that I’ve reblogged, those will usually get tagged with #ask meme and #ask game.
Generally, I’m more likely to tag posts that I make myself than reblogs.
I have tags for all my ocs, usually just their name, so if you want to see more of a character click on their tag and feel free to start scrolling!
I also have tags for some of my friends, usually in the format of #[name]-momence. In the same format, there’s a tag for myself, #me-momence.
