Heads up!

With the panelist signup email having been finally sent out, I thought it was a good time to remind everyone that Arisia 2015 is coming up quickly. I've already put  in for a suite, so hopefully we'll have a photo shoot location again. It has been suggested to me that we may be low on nurses for this con, so now is the time to tell your friends and ask around for help.

Have you started planning already? Reply to this post and tell us how.

Arisia Comps?

Query: I haven't bought a Membership to Arisia 2014 since I know it was always comped in the past for Naughty Nurses. (And then it was for the next year but I couldn't make the next year so maybe it carried over?) I dunno.

But anywho, I would prefer to know that I have a membership before I show up Friday morning to help out at the sign up desk. Can anyone advise?

Thank you!!

We have a suite!

We have an Executive Suite in room 1466/1467. It's on the short hallway side of the hotel, unfortunately not the suite just behind the elevators (boo). Not only will will be having the shoot in the suite, but one of our guests has a disability and uses a cane. The Party Czar "Crystal Huff" says we're out of luck unless someone with our requested suite cancels. Oh well. A suite is better than no suite at all.

Is anyone free to do backup blood drive help Saturday at ReaderCon?

Our favorite O-neg (John Hodges) has been ailing. He is mending and much better, but not up to his usual one-man-show blood drive at ReaderCon this weekend. He had a sudden infection that is responding well to treatment.

We have help on the sign up table Thursday evening, all day Friday and Saturday early morning. But then the schedule may have a tall John-Hodges-sized hole in it from about 10am to 3pm Saturday. ReaderCon is working on recruiting, but they have a lot of other jobs to fill. It would be a pity to see the blood drive be less successful than it might be, for lack of at-Con staffing.

We know this is last minute, but is anyone free to do a shift on the blood drive sign up table? We might be able to get people comped in for the day. We can certainly ask for that, given the last minute circumstances.

To be clear, this is NOT Arisia-style Naughty Nursing. This is street clothes sign up table staffing. Alright, maybe we can do a little better than street clothes but please save the really spicy stuff for the winter.

John has been a stand up guy for us. Now we have a chance to help him out. Anyone free at the last minute? If so, contact the Volunteer Coordinator for ReaderCon at "Thom and Dawn Jones-Low <tjoneslo@together.net>" or "Dawn Jones-Low <dawnjl@faeriecourtfarm.com>"

Thanks.
