"Uchida Shungicu no Noroi no One-Piece" could be one of stories from "Yami Shibai." Both are short anime series with mysterious atmosphere and leave many things unexplained. Each "Yami Shibai" episode has different, quite unusual animation, but "Uchida Shungicu..." animation is not newest either, but this only add mood to these horror stories.

Before I even started reading "Buna no Mori no Aria" I had impression that this series reminded me a lot of "Yoru no Namae wo Yonde". During reading I was even more convinced that people who liked "Yoru no Namae wo Yonde" should read "Buna no Mori no Aria". Two adorable heroines, interesting side characters... and quiet life with a touch of mystery. There are more similarities that you will definitely notice when you will read these series.
