Below are my Christmas icons this year. In the past (2009 and 2008) I've done letters to Santa, this year are letters back from Santa. I tried to hit the fandoms popular on my flist, but I'm sure I missed some, as well as missed characters you love from the ones I did get. So this is also a request post.
When requesting please remember: 1) The font used is illegible small, so I'm limited on how much I can put. 2) I update with new icons as soon as I have enough to make a reasonable update. I will comment to you when they are up. 3) Requests accepted through December 19th 4) Please be specific in your request. Asking for "True Blood" characters doesn't help me as I don't know them. 5) Requests can be fandom, actors, musicians, personal, things...what ever, as long as it sounds good to you. 6) If you credit, please do so to my_icon_lj or fire_sister so people can find where to request them.
For those of you who were kind enough to overlook the apostrophe issue before and make requests, your request is included in this update (towards the end). Thank you!

Christmas Letters to Santa. I obviously started with the fandoms either I'm into, or my flist are into and a few that were really popular last year. But I'm open to requests on these. Please note that the font used to write the 'names' gets really hard to read in small size or if I 'squish' it together, so long requests aren't going to look good or be able to be done. Thus a lot of 'ships' were cut when I made my first round. I'm happy to 'try' anything you request though. Please do notes that I did cover the fandoms I know, so asking me to do "stargate" or "star trek" or what ever won't help me. I actually need to know what 'names' or 'items' or what ever you'd like to see. I'm forseeing closing the requests on or around the 18th of December and I will make them as quickly as I can for you. I'll comment back to you, but put your icons in the main post. Also, remember just because I use a name for one fandom doesn't mean it won't cross over (like there's a "Charlie" in just about ever fandom out there)...so snag my LOST one even if you mean it for another show. :) AND...if I missed something in a fandom, just let me know, I'll make more from something I've already done, no worries.

Santa comes tonight at my house. I'm not sure who's more excited myself or the kids. Watching Christmas through their eyes is wonderful! So for todays holiday entry...Santa. And a few of his elves...and while I was at it the all important Naughty/Nice list.
For those of you who have 'known' my icons for a while, yes the first four I did last year (the first one I use now in my lj), but I wanted to relist them.
In the process of making icons for various contest, for friends, for trying to break out of a repetative cycle, to break through iconers block...what ever, I sometimes make icons for no real reason. Ones that don't really fit with any other updated I'm making at the time. Ones from random images that catch my fancy, or stuff that's been on my hard drive for ages. This post is for those icons. Hard to catagorize. If you like my stuff you might just want to glance through to see if there is anything here you like.

If I tried to put a holiday outfit or even a hat on one of my cats, I'm pretty confident I would get the "Oh Hell No" look from them before they tore myself and the outfit to shreads. But apparently, I'm the only person with animals like this...as dressing pets up for the holidays seems to be popular.
