Bottom line is even if you see 'em coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we? Helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.

from crazymuch: Even in all that pain, you take the time to care about other people and their lives. You remind me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You have all this crap going on in your life, but you put out this positive and caring vibe and are there for all your friends.

from elementalamber: You're so strong. You have so much to deal with, so many different health issues, and yet you keep on truckin'. No only do you keep on, but you do it with dignity and kindness. You have a huge heart and you're more than willing to help thers out whenever you can. I'm so glad I've met you. ... As someone who knows what you deal with on a daily basis, or at least SOME of what you deal with, I know you're one tough bitch. And I mean that in the MOST complimentary way possible. If there was some way to combine tough/goddess/bitch/still soft, that'd be you, sweetie. :)

from pamc: You are my warrior-sister-in-pain. The things that piss you off about the world are things that piss me off about the world. I know I can count on you even though we've never met f2f. Though I'm sorry that you suffer, you remind me that I'm not alone. And I wish I had your Dad.

from stop_whispering: I like that if you want to accomplish something I sense you will get it done, I really like that characteristic in someone. I think that to a few sacred people/friends who are extremely loyal.

from so_brilliant: You're real. there are so, so many fake people in the world today, and sometimes it's hard to filter through them. I love the fact that you're real, and you're honest. That's such an awesome quality in a friend. You get things. You get pretty much everything. I know so many people who just..don't get it. Whether its things in my personal life, with health related things..with anything, really, they just don't get it. You get it. and I love that. lol. You have a lot of courage, and I really admire that. With everything going on in your life right now, with Eric, with moving, health related things, you're dealing with everything so so well, and IMO it takes a lot of courage to be you right now, and I find that really admirable.

Even when your posts are full of angst, you're always there, trying to figure things out and talk through them, seeing how you can make things better. Your love for the Red Sox--HELL YES, AL EAST CHAMPIONS. *dances* Okay, I'm a little over-excited. But really, New England rocks and I love that you're from there.

You've had a lot of adversity thrown at you. While you and I don't always agree on things (relationships, etc) we still get along. I'm glad i met you and when you come back home, i really do want to meet you :)

from vonandmoggy: I met you via some of my health problems...which automatically buys you bonus points because you didn't tell me to quit whining and get lost :). You're helpful, brave, friendly, and fun....even when you're going through stuff yourself, you have suggestions for other people. You might have other stuff on your plate but strangers would never know it...you're an all-round good person. Oh and...you like the Red Sox. :D

from my dad: I overheard some of your conversation with mom and I am concerned that you are worried about what I might say about your decisions. You have enough to worry about other than that. Let me tell you that I respect your intelligence and your brain. I do not always agree with everything you do, but I will support you and your decisions. Just that when you make a wrong one know enough to realize it and don't continue to do the wrong thing expecting different results. I love you beyond words and will help wherever and whenever I can.
