Title: After The Stand
Type: Post X-3, AU, Movie-verse
Pairings: Wolverine/Cyclops (Logan/Scott) , Iceman/Pyro (Bobby/John)
Summary: The teachers and students cope with the loss of Charles Xavier, and Jean Grey. With new arrivals and discoveries, how will the X-Men move on?

The brotherhood had been nothing short of a mistake, one that John was already regretting. To him the brotherhood stood for power, for freedom, and for acceptance. He wouldn't have to hide or change anything about himself, or feel like he was locked in a cage. But what he didn't realize was how they only stood for war and for maddness. Despite regrets and decisions that should have been considered, Pyro went along with them. The final battle which took Jean Grey's life was absolute insanity, and John had never felt more of an outsider than with Magnetto's group.
He walked through the pouring rain until he finally met the gate that led into the mansion. He opened the box and pressed his cold fingers against the correct keys, entering the code he remembered. However when he did, an alarm began to sound and he quickly backed away. The code must have been out dated, and now he was viewed as an intruder.

One whom was thought to be dead, returned a full week after the battle. Scott had been found alive, but had remained in a somewhat comatose state. In the sense that he wasn't responsive. He stayed in the room he shared with the fallen phoenix, and stared at the wall all day. Hank had told everyone he was just in great shock, that he would snap out of it, but he hadn't. Everyone in one way or another had tried to break him out of it, including Logan which was a shock.
Scott slowly turned his head towards the window to see the pouring rain hitting it as he heard the alarm. He was wearing his special sun glasses like usual. "What...?"
