* I have always loved art and artists, but recently I just haven't been able to get enough. I want to immerse myself in their thoughts and images, imbibe art, satiate myself in the world of the visual. Osamu Tezuka, Dan Eldon, Frida Kahlo, Francesca Lia Block, Nikki Grimes, Paolo Freire, Sherman Alexie, Naomi Shihab Nye, J.K. Rowling, and Victor Villasenor are my heroes of words and images. I am the unfulfilled Tantalaus, but unlike him, I revel in every moment of getting closer to my goal. There is no design, comic strip, icon, texture, cloth, painting, sketch, or scuplture that I can resist touching, feeling, tasting. Art, I welcome you into my world.
