This entry is being post dated so that I can always find it. :)
This is just my personal space to keep track of upcoming book releases since I took it out of my user info. Of course, now I have to go track it all down again. ♥ amazon.com
2016 April 5: Flamecaster - Cinda Williams Chima July 26: Wired - Julie Garwood September 13: The Sound of Seas - Gillian Anderson October 4: Wait for Dark - Kay Hooper
I changed my layout. I'd had the red/white one forever. If I ever hook up my external HD, I might rotate my icons too. No, I won't be posting more frequently, but I do still comment on friend's posts. (Now that I can comment again).
While I don't post here any longer, I do check my friend's list daily. Since the most recent LJ change, I have been unable to post comments. I can go through the entire process until I actually click the 'Post Comment' button and then nada.
So, I'm still here. I'm still reading, but LJ has decided to press the mute button for my commenting abilities.
I'm completely revamping my website. I've added subdomains and I'm slowly getting everything up and running.
Why is this important? I've created a blog there. I've only posted once so far, but I feel since LJ is basically going the way of the BetaMax (but slower), I wanted to find another place to hang my hat.
I'm keeping my LJ until the end of it all, because there are still a handful of friends that post regularly.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I probably won't be posting anything here any longer unless I really feel I need to get in touch with someone on my flist that I don't talk to anywhere else.
I will still read my friends page. I will still comment occasionally. But posts from me will be on my new blog. You can come read and comment there if you like! :)
I have to go check, but I should have it so that you can 'log in' with your FB/Twitter or whatever to comment. I want to make it as easy as possible, but I also don't want the spammers to be able to drown my posts with comments. (It floods my inbox and is very annoying).
I managed to read 21 books in 2012 (all but 2 of them from August to December). This doesn't count the 30 novel length fics I re-read earlier in the year. (Yes, I went back and counted them).
Though there are 2 books I started and gave up on, so they're not in the count either.
Not bad, but I've done better. :)
Everyone does recaps this time of year. I don't want to recap my entire year, but I will definitely say that finally making it to England was the highlight of 2012 for me. I can cross that one off the bucket list.
