I love tragic backstory reveals and generally I'm willing to just roll with it when stories get weird or silly in the name of tragedy. And I really like this character and would have loved to feel bad for him.  But I think I've discovered my limit for what I can take seriously, and it's "I have a curse where every person who eats my homemade cookies dies within a week for seemingly unrelated reasons. And that's how I lost my mom, and my grandma, and my foster parents and my cousin, and my first girlfriend..."

Yes, that's very tragic, but also :D
