First up! Pics of the turtle I crocheted! I actually just finished it this last weekend because... apparently I am slow. I have been working on a few other things so hopefully I'll be able to make things faster. Though I still have to figure out how to do hair. :p

Day 20 - The "can't stand the sexual tension anymore" pairing?

These two questions have kind of the same answer... See, the thing about pairings is it's all up in the air. I like a lot of pairings that people think are weird or don't care for. In fact, every pairing I like probably has at least one person out there who doesn't care for it. Likewise, there are pairings I'm not fond of but this is fandom and lots of people like these pairings and have their reasons. So... ::shrugs:: There is no real answer to this.
Day 23 - A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out great?
Erm... Leia/Han/Luke in Star Wars 'cause it turned out Leia and Luke are twins? Plus who wouldn't go for Han instead? I guess Luke is a Jedi and all but still.
Day 24 - A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out badly?
Spock/Uhura/Kirk -- It worked out just fine and dandy in my eyes. Or so far it has. But there are a lot of angry slash fans out there still who say terrible things about Uhura just for "daring" to break up their dream of Spock/Kirk. I will feel very bad for them if we don't get some epic Kirk/Spock bromance/besties moments in the next movie though. I mean, I look forward to those moments too so... I can't imagine the writers not putting that kind of stuff in since their friendship was a huge part of the original series (which they've already given nods to in the first movie).
Day 25 - A pairing that was/would-be adorable, but could never work out?
Hm... I don't think DC Comics will ever let any pairing work out, no matter how awesome/adorable. Not even BatCat... hell, even when Bruce can't fight anymore they still probably won't let them be together and will probably kill Selina off or something. But yeah... the DC Universe is pretty much a soap opera in comic book form, which means no one ever dies and at some point everybody gets to sleep with everybody else. ::shrugs::
Day 26 - A pairing that you hated and ended up loving?
...Erm... I can't think of anything that I went from one end of the spectrum to the other for. I don't generally like Harry/Hermione but I've read a couple fics with them as a couple and enjoyed it. But I certainly no where near approach loving the pairing.
Day 27 - A pairing that you loved and ended up hating?
Can't think of anything. Well, actually... I really loved Lady Une/Treize in Gundam Wing but thinking about it as an adult and how she totally lost herself for him makes me not like it as much and to more feel really bad for her. It's not like Treize was a terrible guy but erm... letting her watch him bathe regularly (or so I assume from one ep where it happened heh) was probably not the best sign to give her if they weren't together.
Day 28 - A pairing that you will never understand?
Hagrid/the giant squid. Hermione/Lucius or Hermione/pretty much any prominent death eater (who isn't a spy) when it's consensual. Yeah, there are work arounds for that but as far as all the top death eaters go. Unless it's hate sex or non-con.
Day 29 - What ship had the best proposal?
Piper/Leo in Charmed. I loved it 'cause she was so suspicious he was forced to propose to her in a bathroom. That would soooo be me.

That particular SSHG one never fails to make me giggle.
In other news I submitted my JET application! Woohoo. Not much else new to report. Looking forward to spending time with my family on Thanksgiving and am reading some good fic at the moment. :]
Edit: Does anyone know of any character memes out there? I'd love to do a 30 day character meme. Talking about ships was fun but I'd love to give some character appreciation too since a lot of my fav characters don't factor into ships (at least not ones I read on a regular basis).
