Please excuse the clunky awkwardness, it's been a while since I've written a story, no matter how short, and this one is a product of codeine and sleep deprivation so it's probably horrid, but I woke up just before dawn to a world of beautiful frost and cold and the muses prodded me out of bed and wouldn't leave me alone until I had scribbled this.

I'm not giving any more details, those who know me know what I write and this was written so I can go back to sleep! There's only topless SOLDIERs in this but that's really all. And a bit of sweetness.

Anyway, so here I am, total insomnia as usual and with the world's biggest bunny trying to kick my star-clad (white and blue cotton ones) backside. I'm fighting it off, but damn, it's persistent. I'm also a bit worried about my priorities, I must say, since there is six foot of tall, dark and handsome asleep next door and I am sitting at my computer *sigh* Ah well, he needs the sleep and seeing as he pinched most of my side of the bed I call this self-defence as I am just getting my toes nice and cold. Heh heh heh.

So this writing thing? I want to give it a go after a break of, oh, waaaaay too long. Trouble is I'm not sure how to kick start a muse so atrophied it's practically extinct and I don't want to tackle the (now two) huge bunnies I have rattling around in my brain without at least seeing if I can still construct sentences which make a vague amount of sense.

So here's the deal. Anyone got any requests for something short? I can't promise when I'll get it done, but it might help me over the OMGICAN'TDOTHISANYMORE stage if I ease myself into it gently and it may help with the discipline of the sitting down to write thing. I think most people know my fandoms but in case not they are FFVII, Wraeththu and LOTR/Silm, oh and Valdemar for those who know what, or should I say where, the hell that is.

Ok, now I go to bite my nails. I would hold my breath but blue is so not a good colour on me.
