Book Challenge!

Whoops! Missed some days.

Day 4: For my Chilly Nights
Well, it's super hot here in Santiago so I'm trying to remember what I like to read on Chilly nights (also every night is Chile night here, prrtthhzzmm!) and I can only remember The Historian, because it made me feel chilly. Scary stuff. Also, Snow Child.

Day 5: Quintessencially British
Jane Austen. Any of them.

Day 6: Everyone should read

NEVERWHERE. Come on.

Day 7: Childhood Favorite
I have a confession to make: I wasn't a big reader growing up. I liked maps and encyclopedias, but I rarely read books. The one book I do remember is Papelucho by Marcela Paz, which is about a Chilean boy who gets in trouble a lot and has different adventures like going to the dentist or having an extraterrestrial friend. I want to finish the series some day, I've only read two of them.

5 movies about Scotland

For the love of Scotland!

The first time I went to Scotland, the tour guide kept mentioning Maid of Honor all the way back from the Highlands, because we drove by places that had been in the movie. Considering I went back to unicorn land this year, while I was riding through the mountains I thought of this Top 5. So here it is. :D

BOOKS!

Boooooooooooooooks. I finished my Goodreads challenge for 2014. I read 35 books. I know it's not that much but it's more than last year and helluvalot more than the average in Chile. So I'm a bit proud but not THAT proud. I realized I can finish a book in 2 days if it really gets my attention, and that's something that never happened before.

Anyway, here's my list.

how does this even work?

HELLO FRIENDS!!

I had completely forgotten this still existed but then I received a lovely message from punkheid so I needed to come here and reply and, at the same time, talk to you, lovely people.

OMG, how have you been? I've just realized that I've pretty much posted the exact same type of thing in the last two years. I AM SORRY. At one point, LJ changed things around and I didn't renew my paid account and got mad, so I stopped reading my flist and it's just sad. I've missed talking to you guys, even though I do still talk to most of you on twitter or facebook.

I will try to post more over here. Promise.

Yes. This is a real post.

Wow, LJ changed while I was away. I don't like this font OMG MY EYES. ANyhoo.

Hi. I don't really watch TV anymore. That's my excuse for not posting and/or checking LJ in months. I kinda forgot it existed? And then I had to swipe my hard drive off TWICE and I completely forgot to log in for the longest time.

How've you been? How's School? And work? And life! I hope you're all fantastic. I'm doing pretty well. Work is fine, friends are great, love is amazing. I'm happy. And happiness makes me want to live more and blog less, I suppose. I do still keep my blog in Spanish and you're more than welcome to check it out, if you want. It's called Natified. Yeah, I know. I've never been good with names.

I'm on vacation this week so I stopped by. I still read you and sometimes comment. I miss the good old days when we had Golden Globes parties and commented for hours. Remember that? Ah, twitter, you really fucked us all in the face. Ha.

I just wanted to say Hi. :)
