HI HI HI! Happy Halloween everyone! I come bearing recs of the Joe/Nick variety!

FIRST, I must wholeheartedly rec Let Yourself Out If You Can, which is the fic beckaandzac wrote for jb_bigbang this year. It's 18k of semi-slavefic, in which bb!Nick and bb!Joe prepare themselves for lives as body slaves by practicing the sex on each other. It's wonderful and angsty and long and smutty and I LOVES IT.

And speaking of jb_bigbang, I find myself in the unusual position of reccing a WIP, because there is nothing NOT AWESOME about Ad Astra (I've got a bad feeling about this), a JoBros in Space fic written by sarahsan and the honestly AMAZEBALLS art by smithereen. Go read this now.

Then, the other day, the lovely novaberry made a post on boyfriends_fic asking people to post pics and vids and oops! some people actually posted fic! 2oclockcheckout started posting fic about bb!werewolf!Nick going into heat while snowed in with Joe (WIP) which is unfinished but glorious. Then novaberry posted two awesome fics, one about current!boys reconnecting and one about bb!boyfriends getting busted fooling around in the locker room by Coach Garbo that is really DIRTY. Aaaaand then somehow I also ended up posting fic there - so far it's 7 parts of WIP about the boys smoking pot and Joe coming out and other stuff. When it's done I'll make a complete post and post it on my LJ - so don't bother reading it now unless you are really bored.

BUT THEN. WHAT HAPPENED WAS. Rebecca pointed out that most of the prompts we were getting on that post were about the current boyfriends getting back together. So we made a new fic challenge post: BOYFRIENDS REUNITED at boyfriends_fic, which is going on now! So you should go there and post a prompt, post some fic, or BOTH. There are some awesome prompts already.

LONG STORY SHORT: there is actual ACTIVITY in this tiny little fandom again! I will revel in it, and hope you do too!

So, okay, I started writing this fic... um... LAST YEAR? For backinblack, because she is fantastic and always writes me porn to cheer me up, and then... I don't exactly know what happened. But I've got nearly 25,000 words written, so am going to post the first couple of parts now, and hope to finish it up very soon. SO HERE'S YOUR WARNING - THIS IS A WIP.

Title: Booty and the Best

Word Count: This part is a little over 10,000 words, Part 2 is around 9,000 words, and Part 3 is around 8,000 words.
Notes and Warnings: Well, Gin had asked for a Beauty and the Beast AU, where Nick was a cursed princeling who had turned into a fierce beast and Joe was this pretty little thing who loved him. Somehow I ended up with this fic instead, which came out closer to canon than to the fairy-tale. I suppose I'll warn for incest (doh!) and buttsex (mmm), although I suspect that's what we're all here for. Also Joe in drag.

YAYYYYY. COME PLAY. OR COMEPLAY. ALL GOOD.

WHY HELLO THERE. It's been awhile since I've posted any fic recs, and boy, do I have some FANTASTIC dirty ones for you tonight!

First, allow me to set the mood. This is as close as I can get to helping you visualize Nick Jonas performing fellatio:



Now that you're aroused (because clearly, you ARE), you should run, don't walk, and read these fics:

another day older and deeper in debt by blackwayfarers (JB/Mad Men crossover, Nick Jonas/Don Draper). You ever give a stranger a swipe of your Metrocard because they lost theirs and don't have their wallet, and think to yourself, well, maybe that guy will turn out to be the Sultan of Brunei, and he'll find me and repay me with a diamond-and-ruby-encrusted cape? No? Because that's what basically happened to me when I did a nice thing for blackwayfarers, and he wrote me 20K of filthy, perfect Mad Men AU. You don't have to be a fan of Mad Men to love this fic, but if you are, you will DOUBLY love it. Nick Jonas is the intense, competitive little perfectionist we know and love, working at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce as a copywriter under Peggy and Don. Don is, oh my god, perfect and cruel and drunk and TERRIBLE and he SHAMES Nick all the time and then makes him get naked and touches him in his privates. A LOT.

We Mechanical Men by futuere (bb!Nick/robot!Joe). I know. I know. When are sexbots NOT awesome? But this fic is even more awesome - Joe is an android (NOT just for sex) and there are all of these brotherly ~feelings and it's really kind of dark and sexy at the same time.

Gold Stars by sarahsan (girl!Joe/Nick, first-time). Look. I know Joe Jonas is not a girl. Really. But when fics like these happen, I kind of wish he was. This is excellent and dirty and I love it and so will you.

The next two are from a recent fic challenge at boyfriends_fic, so you'll need to be a member of the comm to read them:

Bad Case of the Feelings by rudhampaiel (Nick/Dhen, first-time fingering). I've said it before and I'll say it again: only Angela can make me love Nick/Dhen EVERY TIME she writes them. I hope she stops doing it soon, or I might have to start shipping them for real.

This smoking hot comment fic by backinblack about the first time Nick teases at Joe's ass while they're fooling around. Need I say more? It's PERFECTION.

Believe it or not, there are MORE fics that I should be reccing you, even some from other Merlin fandoms, but these are truly the must-reads. Happy Hanukkah or Merry Christmas or just plain old You're Welcome!
