Columbus Meetup
I know a lot of people are going to the Columbus show next Tuesday. I'd like to remind you that I will be there with a few other MCRmyMI members. Most of us are coming seperately, but I would like to extend an invitation to anyone attending this show to a meet-up in Columbus.
Around 2PM, May 1st, 2007, I will be with four other MCR fans at Max & Erma's located across the street and East of Nationwide Arena. With us, we will be bringing a lot of promo with us of both Muse and MCR to work the lines at the show like we did here in Detroit this past February.
Everyone is welcome to attend, but if you know for sure that you'll be able to make it, please let me know ahead of time. Invite your friends, your parents, etc etc etc.

Meetup: Saturday, April 21st, 2007
1PM - 4PM
National Coney Island
Roseville, MI, USA
Located at the intersection of Gratiot and I-696 (near 11Mile).
Basic Directions:
From the West
Take I-696 East to the exit at Gratiot. You can see it from the freeway.
From the South
Take Gratiot North until 11 Mile or I-696. You will probably have to Michigan Left around to enter the parking lot.
From the North
Take Gratiot South. Stay in the second to right lane (the right one ends sometimes, and it also has a lot of parking right there). You will see it right before the Michigan Left for 11 Mile.
From the East
If you're actually coming from the East (which I don't think many of you will be, being as Gratiot/I-696 are pretty far East), just take a mile road up to Gratiot and go either North or South towards 11 Mile.
The agenda includes talk of shirts, promo, more meetups, and more. Also, you can meet me, exchange phone numbers, pick up promo, and meet other fans. It's going to be a lot of fun, and you are for sure going to want to be there.
If you're under 18 and your parents have a hardcore problem with you going, you are absolutely more than welcome to invite them to join you at the meetup or have them give me a call (the number is all over the myspace blogs). If you need a ride, you must tell me by Thursday and no later. I will try to arrange something for you, but I need time to do so.
If you can't get ahold of me this week, I appologize. I have not only classes and work, but an Art Show and Detroit Music Awards.

Mini-Meetup: April 15th
On Sunday, April 15th, 2007, myself, 
sanguinequill (Quill), and floydiankate (KTB) will be meeting up with anyone interested in recieving promo material at Great Lakes Crossing Mall. We will be hanging out near the Rainforest Cafe (located near GameWorks and Hot Topic) around noon. We'll be bringing bulks of promo, and we can use that opportunity to promote.
If you are under the age of 18 and your parents have a problem with this, let them know that they are invited to come and meet me in person.
We'll be there for a few hours, so don't worry about being there exactly at noon. If you RSVP, I can make up packages to hand out to you guys and it will be easier.

Mod vs. London
If you're going to the London, ON gig in May, and don't have a passport, you should probably try to get one this week. Starting in January, you are required to present a passport at the US/Canadian border going either way.

Pre-Road Trip Meetup
If you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks, I am happy to inform you that a bunch of us will be roadtripping to the Columbus, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania shows on May 1st and May 2nd. We're really excited about this trip; so much so that we've invited anyone from Michigan going to these shows to meetup with us there.
However, the whole point of this blog is to try to arrange another meetup before we go on our roadtrip. I understand that some of you won't be able to make it (being as some of you are in Traverse City and Muskegon and have no reason to drive all the way out to the Metro area).
That being said, on Saturday, April 21st, 2007, a few of us are going to meetup at the National Coney Island located in Roseville at I-696 and Gratiot (you can see it from 696 if you're traveling East). I'm thinking 2PM. Good, cheep food and awesome ice cream. This place has great service (although I don't know if we'll get anyone as great as Dayna from the Hard Rock) and can be worth the drive to someone like me.
If anyone needs a ride from Oakland County (preferably surrounding the Walled Lake area), I'll probably have three seats in my car. Please be at least 16 years old if you're willing to take up the ride there.
As always, I'm willing to speak with parents and/or legal guardians. My cellphone number is located at the Myspace.
Please let me know by at least the 20th of April if you're coming or not. A lot of people who said they'd be at the Hard Rock weren't (and for those of you who showed, I'm so glad you guys came). Not that I'm upset about it or anything, but it was kind of hard to tell the hostess that I didn't know how many were actually showing up (and to tell you the truth, I don't think she were very happy about that). And if your parents need to talk to me, please make sure that it is before the 20th (I will be running the Nominee Table at the Detroit Music Awards that night and it can get quite hectic).

The five of us are working really hard on this trip, and we really hope that other members from Michigan will be able to attend one or both shows with us.
