Probability and football/soccer
Just a small thing I did for the sake of it: calculating the odds a particular matchup will happen in this year's UEFA Champion's League Round of 16. Perhaps you'd be interested, either to nitpick about my explanation of the Law of Total Probability or whatever else. It's an interesting (and not necessarily trivial) problem, and kind of fun for me. :D
