Dear LJ Math Genie,
I am trying to grok the concept of cofinality. I have a vague understanding of the definition but I would like a more intuitive way to think about it, as well as a better way to look at statements like "an ordinal α is cofinal in an ordinal β" and various other statements of the form "This follows since κ is cofinal." Any assistance you could give would be most appreciated.
