Moony, looking for Padfoot, Prongs, and possibly Wormtail.

Just so everyone knows, 1_moony and I are on the same page with this, (which is why we started this community) and would happily be that person (or one of those people) for each other, but we're too geographically distant to really /be/ there for each other like that. (In case you're curious, we met at TWH in Salem).

A question to get started with: Which marauder do you think you're most like (be honest)? Why?

Moony's is obvious. Mine: probably Wormtail (minus the traitorous tendancies). I'm rather a coward, spent a lot of time being picked on in grade school, and always feel like the tag-along outsider in groups (even when the people in those groups are my friends).

Er... that's about it, really.

This community was established in protest to a world where the only "true" and "lifelong" friendships are found in fiction. I read and write fiction and fanfiction in every form, but the one thing I've always found that differs between fiction and life is that everyone in fiction has someone. Not everyone in real life does.

The thing is, everyone seems to want it, even if they won't say so in so many words. And I know there's someone else out there like me, who doesn't care so much what sort of personality quirks people have, they just want a friend they know will always be there, always.

No requirements, no strings - except, of course, for permenant, unwavering loyalty.
