Hello people of Maple Story. As much as I rly hate admitting this, I have the itch to play MS again. I like having a game to play in my free time.

Unfortunately, my level 83 FP mage was hacked sometime ago, and I lost everything. ZHelm and what not. After checking various accounts, I managed to scrounge up 20mil, but that's chump change to a FP mage.

So, I'm looking to start over. Maybe. Recommended servers, anyone? I'm looking at going with a Cleric, but I'm not entirely sure. If I stick to Bera, I'll probably use that nifty little KoC thing that they have going on. Speaking of that, can anyone break down the various jobs of that for me here? I'm super behind on the game and would like a catch up.

 I haven't started a KoC character yet, but I've seen MANY in game so far. 
I've actually never seen servers so filled since Ludi PQ was introduced O_O. 

I want to know what our users here think.
Anyone made any KoC characters yet? If so, what level & class did you decide to go with?
How are you enjoying the path so far?
Anyone real high leveled/show us your pwnsome training skills.
Have there been any guides introduced for creating a new character, or, a specific build you've personally used that you recommend?


I'll probably make one eventually, but right now I'm trying to level a (main) sin & a (2nd char) pirate on Bera. 
if I were to make a KoC, it would most likely be a Night Walker.
I'm a sucker for anything sinny(mon), :P.


I also have a question maybe someone here can answer for me, what is the point of families & how do they differ from guilds? What are the benefits of one, & how do you start one?

Has anyone ever heard of the game WonderKing? Looks like a slice right off of Maple but could be interesting! Take a look at it if you've been bored as balls on MS.

I have two characters on Bera, one Sin & one Pirate (dun dun dun!!!). I forgot they released this character since I've been gone. I'm not sure if I have the build down but MS makes it pretty impossible to fuck up your character now.

So many things have changed, what's your favourite or least favourite of the new changes since loooong ago?

I think I'm digging the new placement of some monsters on the map, it seems like almost every map is redone.

So basically, I'm looking into getting back into Maplestory again... With the same old character, though. I'm way too lazy to start all over again. But I was wondering if there was anyone on the Bellocan server that wanted to make friends and chill? It's sort of hard to find alrightish people to talk to on Maplestory, so, yeah. My name is Claire and I'm sixteen years old. I live in the UK, but I play MapleGlobal. :)

 So I re-downloaded Maple & forced my newb girlfriend to do the same, but I have no idea where all my homies are at or who is playing where.
Where the fuck should we join? I have no idea what kind of characters we're making but I'll probably be a sin because I love being a sin. She'll probably be something whimsical but who knows.
We're pretty social & not total hardcore grinders, it's my first time back from playing a private server where the rates spoiled me.


Just seeing if there's any future friends out there or if we should just go fuck off into oblivion & pick our own server.

So I'm thinking of trying out another cleric (since I gave up on the last one at like, 37 ^_^;) and I've got a (very silly) question. When starting out, is it Improve MP Recovery you max out first (after putting your one point into Magic Bolt) or Max MP Increase? (I think it's the former, but I just want to be sure before I start out)

I'm also after some good tips for the best types of builds for clerics, and the best server? (Scania's out of the question for me, but I'm seriously considering retiring CosmicGlacia) Any and all advice will be gratefully accepted!

So I'm thinking of starting a new character either on Scania or Windia (maybe the latter, not sure ^_^; ), and I'm dithering between a brawler/x-bo(wo)man. Pros and cons? (also if someone could remind me of the AP distribution for an aspiring x-bowoman, that'd be much appreciated ^_^). Thank you in advance!

I've been out of the Mapling loop something shocking, and I'd dearly love to get back into the swing of things! So I was thinking that the best way to do so would be to start afresh, and go down the route of pirate, taking the Brawler path at level 30 and then following the rest of that path onwards.

So I was wondering: what's going to be the best way to spend my skill points when I get to level 30, and which server am I best placed to making my re-entrance on? Anything else I might've missed during my "hiatus" would also be helpful so I know what to expect! Thanks in advance :)

Before I make the stupid mistake of selling this rare item: What is the fairy wing for? I finally got that whore's, Awren's, glass shoe from the fire boars, and she gave me the fairy wing. What does it do? Should I keep it, put it in storage, or sell it for cash in the FM?

First of all, I just want to say how much I like the 'quote of the week' section on the layout. First with inukawa and his giant pianus and now bananagun with his palate for exotic animals. If any of you read this community on your friends page, you are missing out!

Secondly, did Maple ever come out with a list of winners for players trying to predict who would win the World Cup? I was curious to see if 10 people even guessed correctly as about 95% of the responses were for Brazil. Plus, I wanted to know if any LJers won.
