MapleStory

Okay so. I just came back to MapleStory after a hiatus. Since my break there's been the Big Bang, the onset of Chaos, etc. And since I came back, my tiny guild made by friends has been abandoned. In fact, the friends I played with moved on from the game entirely, leaving me alone.

So two questions. First, I'd like to find a nice guild on my world. So does anyone know of any mature but fun guilds on Kradia? The world itself doesn't seem real fun but it's what we randomly started on, and I have quite a few characters on there. Second question would be, if no one has any recommendations for Kradia, does anyone have any for any other world? I'm willing to try a new server if it's better than Kradia and has a good guild for me to play in.

First, I want to apologize because this entry is going to seem very clueless.

SO. Re-downloaded Maple yesterday and logged in for the first time in...2-3 years? Heh, definitely before the pirate class. Played around on my level 83 (now 84) Priestess and leveled up. I looked at my skill window and found I had 59 points to spend, that there was no MP increase anymore (rather MP Boost which is at level 0), and that my Cleric skill book now has a skill called Spell Mastery.

Hunting around, I've been trying to find new guides for skills to tell me what these are and how they work, but I've not had much success. And more importantly, I cannot find the answer to my biggest question: has my max MP been messed up by this MP increase/boost thing and do I need to go back and max out the MP Boost with some of these skill points?

(Enter revelation moment: Is this why I felt like I was running out of MP extremely quickly??)

Oh. And what happens to my Priest build? Do I need to go back to cleric and get Spell Mastery now? And Holy Focus? Teleport Mastery?

:P I thought the biggest challenge was going to be finding my way around again, but I think I was mistaken.

Oh...does anyone know why all the quests I did as a newbie are all available again? I've spent the past two days trying to clear out my quest log again.

By the way, I'm Lexiana (or Phourtytew, occasionally) on Windia if anyone wants to look me up xD My buddylist appears to have died, along with my panda. :(

HOLY EFFING CRAP, I haven't played Maplestory in FOREVER... It's probably been two years. And I just overheard someone talking about new classes? What's been going on?


And how do I get back into it?! Seriously; I'm thinking of reinstalling the game, but I'm not sure if this laptop can run it. If it can.... well...

Anyone want to fill me in on interesting things? I believe when I quit, I was a level fourty-something ice-lightning mage on Bera. Do they even still have those? LOL.

So I only joined Maple Story the day before Halloween, I believe I got the basics down.
But I've spent so much time training I haven't really made any friends or joined a guild yet. I figure it's not necessary but sometimes playing alone gets...well... lonely. ^^;

Just recently, I found out my friends irl do not play MS anymore. I've been playing by myself, but waiting to see if my friends will ever pick it up again. So, I was wondering if anyone would like to add my characters (in different worlds) to their bl, so I can have party buddies to possibly do pqs with. I've only done KPQ and Moon Bunny successfully, so I'm not very experienced, but I do learn fast XD. I have lvl 30-39 characters in Bera, Broa, Windia, and Khaini. I also have lvl 20-29 characters in Broa, Windia, and Khaini. I've been playing MS on/off for the better of four years (sadly, my grades had plummeted for a while hehe). I'm not constantly on, but I try to go on every night. Maybe even make it in the afternoons. You can contact me via email or AIM (AIM preferred) for my char names. I have G-chat and MSN im too, tho I don't use them (only if I must XD). Um, so sorry to waste your time if you don't wanna be a buddy. Thanks.

(PS - Also have equips to sell on each world. I haven't used Basil Market for a long time, and most of my stuff is under-lvl30 but above avg. Depending on the world, I also have lvl 30+ equips.)

Wow it's been 2.5 years since this post XD. Anyway, graduated from school + has a job, so I've been going on late at night (EST 9:30 pm or 2:30 am) + on Sat+Sun. My Basil Market account is active (currently able to put up Hidden Potential Item equips from Bera and Broa. Hope to get HPIs from Windia and Khaini soon, then all equips). I am no longer on AIM, so best way to contact me is thru lj or BM. I hope to get all my alts to level 30 + my mains on each world to level 40. Still in need of MS buddies.
Also, looking for an old USD 5.00 NX Cash card, for nostalgia. It's a green one, with a Bowman on it? I have 1 with a Dungeon Fighter Online f.fighter on it, so I want 1 with an MS character. Would be great if it still had value on it XD. If you know a place that still sells those old cards, let me know 'kay? If I scan my old card for reference, it can be found on my sales journal: soraamystuff. (Keyword = "if". I am a notorious procrastinator. And I don't have a "real" camera.)

I'm in the UK, but I play maple global. I saw sainsburies were selling NX cards so I bought one.. however, it didn't work for me because it's a euro card - so I was looking to sell it to someone who plays EMS!

how does £4 for the £5 card sound? that's 6250 nx.
