as per last night Netflix removed all its Star Trek series; where was i?

LWD s2: having a blast with it

i was supposed to watch DS9 s6

last month i tried watching Prodigy because NEtflix was going to remove it even sooner
--stupidly they only had season #2 anyway!!
no wonder the first episode left me wondering what context i was missing on!

during the last four weeks i could have finished all of DS9 but i didn't want to
--not rushing through the Dominion War and sacrificing VOY's needed relief plus TNG movies' continuity

so i bit the bullet and watched DS9, s5e26 + s6 e1-3
then sped-watched bits of ep 4-9, 11, 18-20, 24, and 26 relevant to Bashir, Ezri and Vic Fontaine; ignoring the kirodo romantic plot tumor and trying not to spoil myself too much on the whole War and the Bajoran Prophets

then instead of watching VOY s4 (that could have done me good)
i rewatched bits of choice episodes of Bashir-centered DS9 + 1 TNG (with the french dub because i was curious about the translation, and if i'm to write fic i'll need the technobabble correct)
...also 2 TAS eps, one because i wanted to, the other to show my friends on New Year's Eve

also watched VOY:
bits of Doctor-relevant bits of s6e24, s7e20 (skipped to the end and the legal stuff), and s7e24 trying not to spoil myself on the finale (accidentally saw may too much of creepy comp het, yuck)
...and then went back and watched s4e2--that's actually a better place to stop than se3e26 or s4e1!

(i don't care much about Vic Fontaine and i'm sure i'll soon like Seven more than the Doctor, but i need to know sentient holograms' status within Federation law for personal ficcing projects)

then fuck it: i switched to ENT, up to s1e5
i don't like Archer and don't care for Trip at the moment
i like Mayweather, Hoshi and Phlox
(please don't tell me why the fandom my hate on Phlox; he reminds me a bit of Garak and i like his mad doctor attitude)

now, no matter what i'm not paying for a Paramount subscription

i'm left wondering; should i watch Picard because it's available on Prime and i'm mooching off a friend's account?
i'm not sure i'll enjoy it; i'm neutral on the title character but wary of the setting--does someone have insight on it please?

i'll have to pirate everything else anyway!

problem is; i'm still not sure i actually want to watch DS9 s6&7 considering the world's situation

i'm supposed to wait until after VOY to resume LWD
should interspeed ENT in between VOY season 5, 6 and 7?

...what about switching franchises and watching Babylon 5/resuming Buffy and New Who?
