I have committed horribly fucked-up Macbeth genderfuck
foe yay fic. So, obviously, this is the best way to make a first impression on the community.
Still, I think it's a good fic, and hopefully I'm not the only one who's into it, so maybe you'll give it a shot?
Necessary background information for those of you who don't attend Mary Baldwin College:
Our theatre recently put on a production of Macbeth, Ph.D., a version of Shakespeare's Macbeth as reinterpreted by Clinton Johnston to be played by an all female cast, set at a women's college in the 1950s. Sounds like crack, but it really didn't play as crack.
I did some minor crew work on the show, which is why I was hanging out in the green room when, during the final fight between Macduff and Macbeth, a friend (Lady Macbeth, in fact) commented that their fighting to the death noises sounded an awful lot like violent sex noises, and you can see where that got me.
