Bite Sized Bits of Fic

Hey, y'all! :3 Hope you're having a great week, and thanks for being here! Are you ready for our next theme? There's no need to be alarmed that...

Today's theme is shivers and shudders. Let's run our beloved characters through the gamut of chills and thrills! Not everyone gets goosebumps, y'know, but we sure can try to give 'em some! Physically shaking and quivering isn't strictly necessary, of course, just a certain category of responses to stimuli. Is it fear? Excitement? Spidey-sense? Anticipation? Arousal? The indoor A/C or the outdoor weather? Up to you.

Feel free to add specifics to your prompts, like whether you'd prefer a gen fill over something shippy, or if you have a squick or trigger you hope to avoid. Original fiction, fanfiction, and fanfic crossovers are always welcome. ~_^

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here. Unfortunately, DW doesn’t have a cut tag, so use your best judgment when it comes to spoilers.

Today's theme is interjections. All prompts must contain at least one interjection. What are interjections? Merriam-Webster puts it this way: "An interjection is a word or phrase that is grammatically independent from the words around it, and mainly expresses feeling rather than meaning." Let's also include Webster's broader definition: "something that is interjected or that interrupts." Anything from "alas" to "zoinks" expresses feelings, and that's what we want for our characters today. The Wikipedia article has all kinds of examples if you're drawing a blank, btw.

(Or, you can be like me, and try to save interesting prompts as you see 'em... and then end up with multiple text doc files full of [themes + links + prompts] that you can easily look through and search for keywords.) Multiple fills for one prompt are welcome, by the way! Oh, and you are very likely to find some awesome fills to read as well, and wouldn't it be nice to leave a comment on those lovely little writing distractions? ~_^

Whichever you decide to do, prompt or fill (or both), please remember:
1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from a particular fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts in as many fandoms as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether it is a request or a fill!

Greetings, everyone! ^_^ This is still comment_fic, I am still here as your host, and now... It's a new month and a new day for pondering, prompting, and writing! (And Oxford commas!)

Today's theme is rare pairs and crack ships. I'm using the terms "pair" and "ship" loosely here. You can have more than two characters per prompt or fill, and the relationship can be gen. Romance and lust are not necessary, though I'm sure most relationships have some form of tension. All you need to do is focus on some characters that you wish would interact more in canon (or meet at all), that you wish were more popular as a set within fandom, or that you simply find interesting together. Hopefully others feel the same way! Feel free to use AO3 or other fandom spaces as a guide for the relative rarity or crackiness for your chosen relationships.

Today's theme is decades and eras. All prompts and fills must either feature a time period or something that can be dated to a time period. A fashion accessory or a style of art, for example, can seem like it belongs to a certain time period on a large, cultural scale, as well as on a small, personal one. Human history is optional, of course, as is Earth history.

Thursday’s Theme: Free for All

More Information: Today's challenge is a true free-for-all! Fill any prompt shared in a Saturday Free For All post. There are no additional requirements beyond finding a lonely prompt from a Saturday Free For All and creating a fill for it.

Please number your fills when leaving more than one in a comment. This helps me when I'm ready to count them up.
