Mistletoe Challenge Begins!!

Greetings All:

I hope that your creative juices have been flowing and that ya'll will soon be ready to upload a submission for the Mistletoe Challenge.  If not, then we hope that you enjoy the entries submitted by the talented and creative folks who are a part of this community.  I'm going to post four comment threads in order to create some categories for the entries:  Fanfic, Fan Art, Icons and Fan-vids.  Perhaps we should save comments until mid-way through the challenge similar to how the Battleship Challenge worked??  Since we've set the challenge to run for two weeks, we didn't think it fair to make everybody hold back their comments/reviews until then...don't want anyone to burst from holding their excitement for too long...LOL!!  Hope everyone has a good time with the challenge and I look forward to spending a lovely holiday season reading and looking through all the submissions...and of course, waiting for the Downton Abbey Christmas Special to come our way!!  Happy Christmas Everyone!!

P.S.  Here's the fanfic criteria if anyone needs it again:
  1. Have fun - just to entertain ourselves waiting for the X-mas special
    1. Can write for 1, 2, or all 3 categories/ratings - K, T or M
    2. Categories/ratings K & T limited to one chapter of 5000 or less
    3. Category/rating M limited to one chapter but unlimited words
    4. Challenge begins on December 1st and runs thru December 15th
    5. Stories can be posted on either FF or LJ 
    6. May focus on any 'ship' you desire
    7. Include category/rating in summary
    8. Warn about containing Series 2 Spoilers in summary
  2. Each story must contain at least three of the following criteria:
    1. Kiss under the mistletoe with one half of your ship and another character
    2. A drunken Mrs. Patmore
    3. A sober Lady Violet drinking everyone else under the table
    4. Singing – drunken or sober
    5. Thomas engaging in any drunken or sober activity that ends up with him getting punched
    6. Giving of a 'suggestive' gift
    7. Tartan underclothing
    8. Chocolate, Peppermint or any other edible item
    9. A telephone conversation – suggestive or other otherwise
    10. Buttons popping
    11. Knives
    12. Shakespeare or Dickensian quotation
    13. A Christmas hickey
