Lord of the Rings Fanfiction

Dear Ficreaders and Ficwriters,

I've been working on my Final Project at the university, which happens to be about Fanfiction (as a Reader's Response to Literature), and one of the steps I decided to go through is collecting statements from both Readers and Writers of Fanfiction. :3

So I'd be really thankful if some of you could take the time to answer this post. I have some guiding questions for you, though you don't have to answer them separately. Hi!

I adapted a three words code generator with LoTR words or expressions. I adapted the code from a Star Trek: Enterprise site (www.lingdata.net), and they adapted from another site, so no copyright, if you want, you can take the code from me and adapt it too. Just tell me if you're going to use exactly how I adapted because it's a lot of work and I would like some credit.

The rules are very simple.

It gives you three words or expressions and you have to use them to make a fanfic, no words limitations, you may use inflexions.

Reload how many times you want and have fun!

Summary: An alternate ending to Fellowship of the Ring where Boromir does not die. "What self-indulgent kind of crap is that!?" you may ask... Well, it's the kind that's the prelude to an alternate-universe roleplaying storyline with my dear ladyjaida that we kinda needed Boromir for. And RPing is all about self indulgance! ^_~ And as for if it's crap, you may decide.

As all things are already predetermined by fate, and to my understanding from remora's explination, only the race of men in Tolkien's world can change fate, you may notice that many of the events from the actual story still happen. That's intentional in a way that I'm not just following the events for ease. It is fate, after all, even if it gets bended slightly. This is, by the way, based on the movie universe, as that is what I'm working with in RP nowadays. As for the specifics of how Boromir survived... Aragorn did things differently and got there faster, sometimes a little change is all it takes.
