Rambles, Recs, Rarepair Hell

Yuletide assignments were sent out and I've been a mixture of excited yet slightly nervous, since this is my first time doing this exchange. But I already have some ideas on what to do. I'll do my best to make something my recipient will enjoy! I've got plenty of time but I do want to get to work on this sooner rather than later.

Really excited for trickortreatex reveals on Halloween and rarepairexchange reveals very soon too! I'm more excited for TOT reveals than the Halloween holiday itself right now. XD I don't have any plans for the Holiday at the moment, though I'll see if any IRL friends might be available. Did a few final needy baskets I could do for fandomgiftbasket as well recently.

Been watching Punks Triangle, though still need to see episode 3. I picked up the manga immediately after Yasu (Spanner's actor) was cast as Enaga/AE for this. And I really enjoyed the manga! Which made me more excited to see Yasu in this, so far it's been really fun to watch and see how scenes get brought to life. I got to see him put his fingers in another man's mouth, so I'm happy. I wonder how the belly button piercing scene will go... And whoever the stylist is has been killing it! They deserve a raise.

Also steadily continuing through the original Sukeban Deka drama. I've entered the second half, which is now a lot more serialized compared to the first. This half looks to adapt an early arc of the manga, compared to the more episodic "Saki vs the enemy of the week" formula of the first 12 episodes. (One day I'll get to the manga.) I won't lie, I really enjoyed that episodic format but I am still quite excited to see how this half will go too! I'm already interested in what the three sisters and their boss will continue to do to Saki's school.
