Rambles, Recs, Rarepair Hell

60 years ago today the first Ultraman show premiered! I still haven't seen the original but I plan to some time. (With it being a shorter show to I'll make it easier to pick up.) I've got fond feelings for the Ultra series and the shows I've seen so far, especially Tiga as my recent entries have shown. XD But I still really love Z, Blazar, Arc and Omega too!

Teo also has been very fun so far, I like what's been set up in terms of Ibuki's trauma and feelings of isolation on Earth at the moment. So I wanna see how his story goes! I do hope it gets dug into more as the show progresses.

I went to Ultraman Live last year but I completely forgot to share my pics here. Today for Ultraman Day and fannish fifty I'm gonna remedy that! :D There's more pictures from the event I have than what I shared, but this is already such a massive picspam, LOL. I had so much fun at this event as I mentioned in my old entry about it!! I really, really hope they do something like this again here.

First the suits I was able to meet: Alien Baltan, Alien Metron, Zero and Omega!





I love how he put his tendrils on my head, lol.



So many people were hugging Alien Metron, it was sweet how he was accepting hugs!





There were other Kaiju and Ultramen you could see too, but the lines were crazy and it wasn't guaranteed you could get in to see after the cutoff point. Tiga was one of them too. I don't regret not seeing Tiga because this was long before I saw the show but if I could go back in time to tell myself to try to see him, I would! XD Here's hoping for next time!
