Rambles, Recs, Rarepair Hell

I did indeed get to go to the park today! The weather is actually pretty okay here today, especially in terms of humidity so it's nice to get a break. I've been wanting to go outside more in general, it's just really hard when the weather is really hot and humid a lot of the time.

Planning to get more progress done on my zacountdown art today, I just did some chores so I'm taking a moment before I go ahead and start shading it. Made sure I was matchable for rarepairexchange too, I still have a feeling I'll end up being a pinch hit with how the collection summary looks so far but it is what it is.

The latest Gozyuger episode was really fun! It was a recap episode, but there was still some plot progression going on since Hoeru got a new power-up. Most importantly to me, Tomokazu Seki was in it for a cameo! And he was dressed up in a heavily Domon inspired outfit and some G Gundam references got squeezed in. It was delightful. Next week's episode looks really interesting too.

Ultraman Omega has been fun also. I'm very endeared to Sorato as a protagonist, and he had some fun bits this episode. The bootleg X-Files music from the clickbait streamer's video also killed me. XD I just hope Ayu gets to do more going forward, that's my only actual gripe with the show so far. It would have been nice if she got to control Trigaron, but hopefully whenever (if ever) she gets to be in on Sorato's identity she can help in her own way. Other than that this show has been fun so far.

In fun neat things I've found: An Ao3 skin made to look like Tumblr! Though it could work with any OTW-Archive site I'm sure. (Would probably need to tweak some things though so the name in the Tumblr font would reflect the actual site.) I thought that was cute, and I like the options for the modern and classic tumblr color palettes.

Wish I could come up with longer posts for blaugust at the moment. XD
