Just a little life update... I want to experiment with picking a day to blogpost no matter what (I've kind of settled on Friday, maybe) but in the meantime, I thought I'd try to make a bit more of a positive post..?

In an attempt to find something that brings me joy again, I'm getting back into webdev. My current project is a Baba Is You fanlisting! This is the layout I have so far, which is basically almost done:

There's other stuff I'm working on, but that's all I really want to talk about right now. I miss making things a lot. I also haven't drawn or written in a bit (I was taking a break on purpose) and there are other creative endeavors I'm contemplating... I'm hoping that German classes ending soon will free up time to do stuff.

We're seeing the Backrooms movie in two weeks and I'm looking forward to it! They're playing it in English at one of the nearby theater. We also saw Project Hail Mary last month. I'd really like to go see movies more regularly. I'm also going to get back into comic stuff soon.

I find that the real barrier to posting is thinking you need reasons to post. Like I need to have something to show or I need to have something structured to say. Then time passes and I feel like I've missed my chance and then it's too late and I feel bad and no posts happen. (This is, I suspect, what ended up getting in the way of finishing that Z-A review I wanted to post, which is actually still almost finished but at this point I'm like, is it even worth it to actually finish it??? I don't even really want to share it anymore. I've been in such a mood lately.)

Anyway.

First things first,

3weeks4dreamwidth having officially ended, new prompts are closed for the Pokémon prompt meme. I'd still like to maybe make fills for it at some point though, which is still open until the month ends. Although whether I'll manage to or not is anyone's guess. MANNN I had not planned to end up sounding so sour when I started typing this post lol...

I got officially diagnosed with ADD a week-ish ago. Yay. Very "tell me something I don't know" I guess but hey at least now I can get meds and stuff without having to resort to taking my partner's. I also didn't get selected to go to the one con I love and miss tabling at that I haven't been able to table at for the last two years. So that kind of fucked me up in the last few days lol. Then on top of that my laptop's keyboard is all kinds of fucked; the letter L stopped working which is a pain but whatever except a bunch of other keys also stopped working including the main Enter key which is preeeeetty important. Honestly I feel like I'm going to have to admit to myself that I just need a new computer soon but man do I not want to spend money on that...

There are some good news though (other than the ADD diagnosis) and even though I was so frustrated and ready to give up yesterday I'm trying to cling to my previously acquired motivation to keep working on comics even if I can't table at cons. Whatever. I'll find out some way to sell that shit online or whatever. It just sucks that the year I finally got myself to feel genuinely motivated to work on comics is the year they won't take me for my favorite convention lol. BUT ENOUGH RUMINATING...

Existing online has been bittersweet lately, independently from the whole not being picked for the con thing. I just don't really want to be around other people and when I try to do it anyway everything feels fake and forced. I'll get over it but for now it is kind of a bummer. I'm debating just taking an extended social media hiatus or something. I even closed my Tumblr askbox (not that anybody cares, probably...)

I remembered that I was going to try to post more art here and specifically NSFW art, so here's a special NSFW sketch that I may or may not line & color at a latter date (I have so much other stuff I need to be working on... Maybe as a break in-between finishing up my comic for this one zine...) I'll put it under a details tag so as to not jumpscare those who are on this post's page and not just reading it off my journal's main page or their reading list.

3weeks4dreamwidth! We just got back from a short vacation in Prague, and today is a one-day Munich trip, lol. I'll do my best to update the prompt meme tonight (or tomorrow) and maybe drop some fills if I can... Maybe I'll also make a vacation talk post. I do miss blogging.

javert is obviously yet another stubborn and suicidal French guy, although in retrospect I'm astonished I managed to grab that username.
● i always order this food: Got really into pokébowls because we have a really good place for it where we live. Right now I always pick tuna as the base meat and then just pile as many vegetables as possible. Pickled ginger is the one I always include.

Edit: The artist indeed deleted their post on Bluesky, but I managed to track down a Pixiv log that includes the art! It's the one where the Zygarde cells are passing through L's face. Fair warning that the log includes some suggestive art and some Zygarde/L.

This is my first year doing Fandom Trumps Hate! I just thought I’d do a little post showing off what I’m offering for 2026. If you don’t know what Fandom Trumps Hate is, it’s a charity fandom event where people bid on auctions others are putting up, and then they donate their bid amount to charity and get fanworks (or other fandom-related stuff) in return. For mine, I’m letting the person doing the bidding pick the charity they like best out of the list

Both of my auctions are only for Pokémon fanworks. The first one, for fanart, is open to all ages and all ratings. The second one, for fanfic, is for people over 18 only and open to all ratings.

My hope is that my next post here will be my Official 2026 To-Do List (No Pressure But Still It Would Be Nice To Get That Stuff Done)... Until then, to try to get into the habit of posting art here, I'd like to crosspost my entry for perfworldweek! It's a comic I've had sketched out since December, but I used the ship week as an excuse to finally finish it. I think overall it took me a week-ish to make, which seems fair enough for a six-pages B&W comic with shading and some backgrounds.

I've actually been getting back into making comics FOR REAL since Legends Z-A came out, which is nice. Not all of them have been multiple pages long but I did draw a two-pages one, and I have two other thumbnailed (one is another two-pages one, the other is four-pages) which is more than I can say I've done comics-wise since like. 2022 probably. So, you know! Progress!

Another thing that's on my 2026 agenda already is finally archiving my old French fic on AO3... I've made a pact with a friend who's doing the same thing. I don't know if it's going to help but it's nice to have someone to back you up. We're doing a buddy goal on the app Finch (no idea if anybody else who's subscribed to me here uses it, but it's one of those habit tracking apps... you take care of a little bird... it's not guit-trippy at all which is cool. It's actually helped me build some morning habits, I think???)

Dreamwidth is absolutely broken for me right now and I have no idea why LOL, but I wanted to make a post because it's been over a month and also I missed out on doing

snowflake_challenge (which I am a bit sad about...) and ALSO there has been shit going down that pisses me off and if that could be the catalyst that gets me to blog again I would not complain.

2026 has been... something. In many ways!!! But I'm determined to keep on keeping on and to have a good time no matter what... I never did end up making that post looking back on 2025 or whatever it was I wanted to do, but maybe that's for the best in retrospect... I'd still kinda like to write down stuff I'd like to do over 2026 though. So maybe I'll try doing that once, huh... Dreamwidth fixes itself on my end... (If it's still broken tomorrow I'll try to figure that out, or something...)

In light of the ongoing attempts to Crack Down On Pornography I've also been contemplating posting some of that on here, especially stuff I'm not as inclined to share elsewhere right now lawl. So there might be some of that in the future? If there is, rest assured the "worst" of it will be posted under cuts with warnings and probably friends only. So there is that o7

Anyway I picked the worst time to make a post because it's almost 2am and I need to SLEEP but here's a further quick rundown...

1) I'm still so deep in the Corbeau/L mines you guys. Check out the chibi I drew for my

candyheartsex letter... I wanted to share it here a month ago and then I never ended up doing it so here it is now!!!

2) THE PROTOMEN ACT III CAME OUT AND I'M STILL FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT INTERNALLYYYYYYYY literally listening to it right now lol. I ordered a physical album but it's going to be delivered to a friend in the US so I won't get it until the summer... Also I was so excited to get it I didn't think to check the rest of the store and now I'm sad I didn't get the The Good Doctor Part 2 poster considering it literally features my ship </3 Maybe I'll try to get it later... But in the meantime you should look at it because it rules...

I wanted to post again earlier, but the end of the year turned out even crazier than I expected </3 so here I am now in 2026! I hope things were less hectic for you who's currently reading this!

Usually, I make a big end of the year post where I go over everything I made in the year, fic and exchange-wise... but to be honest, I don't feel like doing it this year, lol. Writing was so hard for most of 2025, I think looking back will just make me sad... and I've already come to the conclusion that I should take a soft exchange break, so I don't need to look over my exchange stuff for that.

I will say, I'm still really proud of all the webdev stuff I did this year, and I'm hoping 2026 will be a web-intensive year for me again! I want to start new projects... I want to actually finish my personal site... I want to keep updating Lysandre Labs...

I'd also like to maybe make a post reflecting on 2025 more generally and figuring out what I'd like to get out of 2026. I think that'd be more encouraging than looking back on everything I didn't manage to write or draw o7 Speaking of, I haven't drawn anything yet in 2026... Looking forward to finding out what my first art of the year will be... (Probably Corbeau and Lysandre lbr...)
