COLORFUL ANTI-CAPITALIST WHIMSY HOPE-CORE IS SO BACK

First time watching the entire extended cut with lost footage AND accompanied with an industrial live score performed by Domesticatrix(also my fiancée!) at Saturn, and it’s crazy that one of the oldest sci-fi movies holds up better than most being made today. 

Felt full circle seeing a nearly 100 year old, 2.5 hour silent film screened in such a fresh modern way that felt like past, present, and future were all blended into one. 

Genuinely the most ideal way to view Metropolis imo
