Came in not knowing anything about it except that Blanchett was gonna conduct and boy did she ever. Saw it with a crowd that was laughing and gasping and letting me freak out whenever she pronounced Bach the way music people pronounce Bach. Really nails the comedy of academic patter for which I unfortunately have an insatiable hunger. Close to three hours but I still want more Tar because it's fun to watch her be Tar.

A classic, conservative cheeseburger wouldn’t be a double patty. I wish the script was more interested in food. Ralph is great at playing characters who care. I had fun!
