Jacy Mairs' directorial debut is a powerful, stunning, and at times very difficult watch depicting the life of a 13-year-old girl and her growth amidst other, older trailer park residents. A delicate line ambitiously walked where it's clear our surroundings or our income or even some of our choices don't have to define our character, but it sure as hell is difficult to climb out of a hole once you're in it.
