a page turner! opens by acknowledging that concepts of mind and body can’t truly be separated without causing problems, then illustrates why. absorbs us in the way only words can, forcing the mind to conjure and conspiracize, tempering its academic milieu with a delicious undercurrent of the same lurid mania that fuels a good paperback binge. by the time we finally confirm what our imaginations have been running wild with, it’s still out of reach. everything we’ve been looking for has already happened
