oh doris day how much i've missed you. musicals β no matter the genre β make me feel alive again, and just because of how incredibly beautiful they are, and even better if they're a technicolor film. this might be one of my favorite works of her because everything in it is simply splendid. like she said, it's magic. π£²β

magical as always. to me this is the film that once you've seen it, the beauty of it is never forgotten. everything about singing in the rain is perfect to me, it's so wonderful it brings joyful tears to my eyes!! one of the greatest and most beautiful musicals of all time. this was the reason why i fell in love with movies!!!!!
