First movie of June!
​Such a great comedy. I absolutely loved every moment of it.
And of course, happy heavenly 100th birthday to Marilyn, she was truly phenomenal in this movie ♡💌

Actually, I was saving this movie for my Newman marathon in a couple of weeks, but well… plans changed :)

Tbh, it’s kind of funny that whenever I watch a Paul Newman movie, I struggle to find the right words to describe just how incredibly handsome he is. Maybe that says enough on its own lol.

This movie might not be the greatest, but watching Paul and Joanne’s perfect chemistry was an undeniable joy 𖹭
So I’m giving it a 4/5.

I think you're the saddest girl I ever met.

This was truly a heartbreaking film, and knowing it was Marilyn's final performance adds an extra layer of sadness. She was absolutely gorgeous, and her performance really stood out. The rest of the cast delivered great performances as well.
I read that the Misfits was considered a box office disaster back then, which really surprises me because I genuinely enjoyed it. It’s also deeply saddening that this was one of the final roles for Montgomery Clift, one of my favorite classic actors. Between its storyline and its real-life background, this is such a melancholic movie.

​It took me so long, but I finally watched this Hitchcock classic today (in honor of Jimmy Stewart's birthday!).

I've always seen Vertigo in the top 3-5 of Hitchcock rankings, and even though Rear Window is still my favorite, I can completely see why. This film is brilliant, the cinematography is also gorgeous.
Overall, I'm so glad that it met my expectations. It's easily a solid 4.5/5.
