I feel like it was a poor man’s attempt to make Uncut Gems for Gen Z. It was a good movie but I definitely see why they got snubbed during the oscars.

It felt like a classic original film from the 80s or 90s with how simple entertaining it was. Unlike films most films today, the theme was used to support the plot versus the other way around. The cinematography was great, the acting was first class, and while the plot wasn’t anything crazy, it still felt like an instant classic.

I swear, the looks some of the men gave Delphine were legit HR violations. Including the last guy. Great film though.
